Yeah. Blows my mind. I hear shit like “but don’t you know how much you have to spend to get that?”

No shit, it was spent anyways lol.

Unrelated but for my situation I think the little 1.5t jack from harbor freight works best, as i would have to put it in the basement when not in use. Anyone know of like big wheel type mod for it other than 911 power sports as it seems kind of a ludicrous price

Unrelated again, just did a two night trip to providence and it was so hilarious how my dogs face was like sheer disappointment because we got in Rachel’s Mazda instead of the taco “aw shit this trips gonna suck” kind of look lol

Yeah I never hear back from the owner of that dealership 3wks later and the service manager called me saying they would like to take pictures of the damage for review! Not to fix it, I told them that they should’ve never let me drive off the lot in a unsafe vehicle lol. I also told them I was getting it repaired elsewhere and that I did not want anything else from them!

Absolutely. I bet my lifetime debit card usage is somewhere in the single digits. When it first started there was always that small usage fee (waived if you used it as credit) and then the hassle of keeping track so you didn't overdraw and trigger a $25.00 overdraft fee. When I first got the AmEx gold the assorted perks were good enough to justify keeping it, although at this point I'm not certain I offset the fee with the gains. The AmEx Blue is spectacular.

I miss when I had the Chase Subaru card. It was 3% back on everything redeemable in $100 increments at the Subaru dealer. I was friendly with the parts counter guys so they had this back door site where I could get aftermarket parts with Subaru bucks. I paid $10 out of pocket for my Cobb 3" downpipe. It got to the point whenever I'd go anywhere with my friends I'd pay everything to get the Subaru bucks.

But these days I just throw everything through the card, it's much easier to keep track of everything rather than constantly moving money between accounts. I'd put my mortgage through the card if I could. The only thing I don't put through the card that I could is my daughter's before and afterschool childcare because the associated fees are higher using a CC than what I'd get in rewards.

I know there's a cult that believes credit cards are evil, but if you've got a set budget where you're going to spend money anyways (basic necessities, food, fuel, etc.) why not maximize the return you get for yourself, right?

I installed 9” long lags with that thing and I was so surprised it didn’t blow up. I was also kind of sad because I wanted an excuse to buy an electric ratchet.

Credit cards are not evil. Credit card debt is.

I don't get rewards and such with mine but no annual fee, low AF interest rate. Just gets used if I have to buy stuff online and paid off every month.

Man discover and chase have cards with rotating 5% cash back, so good when it’s like Apple Pay or gas is the category

 glad to see someone using them.
Not even a hello? what did y'all do while you were here? My dogs the same way. Truck oh yeah. Wife's Camry she falls asleep by the end of the road.

Yeah, and Citi has one that's 5% for whatever your best category is. Otherwise it's lower. But yeah I have one of those chase cards.

Don't sleep on the chase coupons on the app/website. You just hit "go" and whenever you buy at whatever it is, you'll get a statement credit. There's shake shack, burger king, jersey Mike's, i got one for chewy, ollie's, whole bunch of stuff. Amex is pretty good about it too. Capital one is mediocre at best for those.
