    I sunk my truck...

So I have had to pull everything out. Over the years people have asked how I fit a speaker box that big behind the back seats and I tried to describe it.

Since the whole interior is removed I figured I'd just show how it's done.

You have to cut everything off the back wall.
You have to remove the hard plastic from the back of the seats.
You have to modify the seat brackets.
Relocate the seat latches on the back wall.

Other than that, just cut anything that is in your way :) Attached are measurements of the box and pics of mods you have to do to the truck to make it fit

Nice box design / build. What was the reason for going with what looks like pretty small subs? Are those 8" diameter? Can't be larger than 10. If I was doing that I'd try to figure out how to fit a low-profile 12" sub in there, like one of JL Audio's low-profile models.

They are 2 DC Sound Labs 8"

It's not about size it's about tuning and air movement. I had 2 kicker solo baric 10's in there before, but there's not enough air space. The box was designed and tuned specifically for these speakers. They put out 4x more Bass than the Kicker 10's.

The same guy who designed mine, designed a box with 4 DD 6.5's that will blow your mind.

Put it like this, those 8's eventually broke the seems on my roof panel, I did a post on that.

Just looked around the DC Audio website, they're definitely serious, never heard of them but the specs on their drivers say everything that needs to be said.
