If this is true then that’s probably the spec I want. Fingers crossed you don’t have to move up another package to get the ventilated seats

    Woahh...
I didn't realize you could get a ZR2 with leather and ventilated seats for still less than 50k. Wow

That is the world in general, if you aren’t like us then you’re wrong. Hell, we go to war and kill each other over differing ideals. There are worse things than pissing and moaning about a dumb truck and their owners. :)

I like all Gens… :D. Each one gets a little better than the last, and each version usually takes a step backwards in someways.

You would still have to find that allocation, if that's the SR5 Tundra you want. Bad enough I can't order a Toyota truck, the dealer can't order me a Toyota truck speced the way I want.

Toyota should run a pilot plan starting in 2025. Where you can order a Tundra specced the way you want

Or better.... with the tacoma. I love the pro interior except for the iso seats. The exterior too except for the gloss black fenders and gloss black roof. The TH i pretty nice too but I would never want that stupid raised air intake. It's not even meant for deep water which is why they dont call it a snorkle.

Same here, hanging on to my lifted w/ camburg uca's 20 off-road until the hybrid off-road comes out. I'll order it with the factory 33s, an ARB bumper and the sport pedals. This way the entire vehicle stays as the factory engineered it originally.

I may revisit wether I get the hybrid over the I-force when the configurator comes out and the prices.

Lol! Have done the suspension 4 times on my 1st Gen. Not touching my 3rd, it is staying stock! Rides hell of a lot better too…

All gens are really good, and all gens (including #4) have their flaws, so critical thought w/o too much negativity is a good thing. Critical thought got owners big things like new frames & a better seating position, and even the little stuff like a real gas cap holder on Gen4. As soon as we’re completely satisfied, progress stops.

I actually come here looking for differing opinions. A lot of voices who I may disagree with still make great points, and change my mind from time to time.

I remember when the 1st Gen came out, people were complaining about the rack and pinion steering.

“Only cars use those! It won’t hold up off-road!”

2nd Gen, “too big and plasticy!”

    3rd Gen “minivan engine!”

4th Gen “turbos suck” “and what is up with that pricing!?” “No access cab!? That Sheldon Browns can go fuck himself!” :)

After we let them marinate for a bit, we get used to the changes and go…yeah that is pretty good. I am sure I’ll get over them killing the Access Cab…and reducing the fuel tank capacity. Though think the answer is a Tundra, could use a bigger truck anyways, and it is still a Toyota.

The new factory 33 option is definitely cool. Nice to have it geared correctly and lifted from the factory, no vibrations or anything to worry about.
