I totally misread that fairing sticker and thought it said "scrotum machine" at first

luckily stickers are easy to remove. albeit tedious.

Hm interesting..only 4k miles so that'd be surprising unless he learned on this bike.

I'd prob try to use that to negotiate the price down at least $500 to recoup fairing cost if you ever did replace.

Thats a solid chunk of work put in!!! Beautiful landscape... bikes can take a rest for the day!

Nice! so how are you switching things? Are you using a relay or just switching inline?

L O L right.... i mean the admin of this country over the last like 2 decades has been leading by example there with just gross spending.

Yeah def check the bike over, stickers scream been dropped.

No switches, the lights come on with the key. They're LEDs with fairly low energy consumption so I'm not worried about them staying on all the time.

Gotcha, yeah i believe the aux circuit is either 10 or 20amp fused so theres a good amount to play with there before having to relay stuff, but stuff does add up quick.

As long as I maintain less debt than the average US debt per capita, I consider myself a success :D

for reference, that's currently sitting at $108k per head

lol, it most certainly looks like a transformer at this point. All headlights aside I wanna ride this…bad!!! The power that these make is nuts, and leaves a grin ear to ear. I got to have to have one! All the sport bikes I have had were fun for sure, but in the actual usable power range this is hard to beat. Feels like you could pull a camper behind you. Roll on wheelies all the time anytime.

I am gonna have to find one somewhere. The overall wheelbase has been shortened for a more flickable experience sense the gen that I had. Would be something I would get use to and most likely love. Been going back and forth between the next street bike I would get…a 701 SM (which I have owned the enduro of) or the newer SD. That SD I had was so much fun and I would have kept it, if it wasn’t for that massive wreck I had on my GS1200A.
I got gun shy to get out in traffic after that Tahoe split that bike in to 2.

Hardware store, get a thread coupler with a 19mm (3/4in ) hex. Insert halfway into axle then you can use a standard 19mm socket.

You can do the rear without it as the rear axle cab be held from rotating via the pinch bolts. Just Make sure to loosen the pinch bolts give the swing arm a few taps with a mallet and then retighten pinch bolts so everything is spaced properly during reassembly

Well, I did not check myself before I wrecked myself today and made an error.

I took the rear wheel off, and spent over an hour wrestling the stupid Bridgestone Battlax tire off. Since it's an off road tire it's super stiff so it put up a fight while I was uninstalling it. Then I went to install the new rear tire (Michelin Road 6) and it turns out Revzilla sent me a 120/70 front tire instead of a 150/70 rear tire. I should have checked the tires over before I started but I didn't like an idiot. Worst part is Revzilla won't overnight a tire to me despite it being their mistake and now I have to wait another week to get the tire and I'll have to bus it to work. :(

The Battlax is so stiff I don't want to deal with wrestling it on and then balancing the tire just to do it again next weekend.
