I have a 2020 DCLB OR with the standard no CD player, but would like to mount a changer as even the satellite radio cuts out in the canyon where I live in Big Sur.
But where the heck do you mount one?
Under the front seats is very limited and would have to remove the rear compartment air conditioning vents which I do no want to do. And there isn't room in the back that I can see.
Spoiled as the tundra had ample room under both fronts and rears.

    CDs?

Convert your cds to mp3 and either grab an ipod from ebay or load them onto your phone. My 2016 has a cd player and I'm pretty sure I have never once loaded a compact disc into it. Been using an ipod since about 2009.

You're Gen X, aren't you? So am I. You can do this.

I installed an 8-track tape player for my collection.

Or an old phone with large storage used as .mp3 storage. My old iPod works too but it's a little laggy.

Seriously, you can literally have every song in your collection at your fingertips. Do they even still make CD changers?

    CD Changer? Talk about nostalgia.

Just joking Taylor! I too finally moved on to Bluetooth, but mine came with a single CD player.

Ha ha the comments made the post worth it.
Im nostalgic, I was afterall built in the 80s myself. But also have an affinity for minimal work possible. Changing out a head unit tinkering sounds like less work and more agreeable than hours of converting to mp3. I have also run into some problems with some stuff not being recognized with conversion software, specifically language learning and Ham radio class audio CDs.

also for honesty and transparency Im trying to get my posts up so I can finally dive into the used/for sale posts. Need a Cap, Sliders, color matched flares, suspension upgrades, and buying this stuff from here from someone who princess and the pee it just didnt work out just right sure beats full retail....

Just download your Spotify music or whatever you use.

Also I think you can buy stuff without 50 posts just can’t sell. I could be wrong on that though.

I dont use any of the music services. no spotify, itunes, play music. everything requires signal to some degree and I live in the cuts, deep. Im radio or CDs old school. Hence wanting an outdated changer.

Yeah I hear ya, I went without for a long time but got Spotify free through work and have grown to like it quite a bit. I still listen to radio a bunch though and have a CD player in my ‘17 that gets used on a very rare occasion. It’s a long shot but maybe there’s some sort of Bluetooth CD player out there?

Plugs into an RCA jack, transmits BT signal from anything that does not have: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/aluratek-bluetooth-audio-transmitter-black/6332920.p?skuId=6332920

ITunes is just a music organizer and is used to transfer music to an ipod. No additional connectivity required once it's downloaded and installed on your pc.

By the way, I hate Apple and everything they stand for. But the there's no equal to the ipod, IMO. I have one in every vehicle I own. No need to stream anything.

Ill keep searching. radio signal lasts about 1/3 of the way home. Satellite radio (when had the free trial) would last about 1/2 way maybe 2/3 of the way. then swithc to CD or Aux cable to old old old ipod shuffle when I had my tundra and before that 99 tacoma. But my 2020 taco the discontinued the AUX and CD options standard I guess, I picked up used about 2 months ago and its bone stock.
