    I have a P01, it is fucking awesome.
    I put fiber optic iron sights on it.
    Love that gun the mostest!
    I love it enough that I hope I never need to shoot someone with it - so the cops don't take it away!!

    I didn't like the rounded area in front of the trigger guard on the PCR [it was in contention when I got the P01].

    P07 is polymer so eah - - -

    I wanted an all metal hammer fired gun, the P01 did not disappoint. Everyone that I let fire it, loves it.
    Shoots super flat, absorbs most of the recoil. The only thing that pissed me off is that it comes with a plastic recoil guide rod . . . WTF . . . it is an all metal gun come on!! I need to just suck it up and by the 22$ metal one from CGW.

    @StayinStock

    Went and did the 2 gun rimfire competition today, it was super duper fun!! If there is one near you, you should give it a shot. About 250 rounds.
    No pressure, mostly vs yourself and your times.

    Steel plates at 10-15 yd, hit em all then hit the stop plate. I was able to borrow both a 22 pistol and rifle from the guys in charge and I can continue to do so going forward for a while.

    First time I've ever been timed shooting. Did average with the pistol, was a bit slow with the rifle.

    Also, I got hit with a ricochet!!
    It hurt but since it didn't break the skin I forgot till I got home - gonna leave a bruise tho!

    Nice job but :eek::eek::eek:

    This will definitely be a next year purchase but....I've been watching tons of vids, leaning toward P01, if I can find one.
    I'd like to have one da/sa gun with a decocker, gotta start saving my pennies.

    Tis merely a flesh wound!

    I have the SA/DA decocker model :thumbsup:

    At the time I also considered the IWI Jericho 941
    (model J941RS)
    https://www.familyfirearms.com/product/iwi-jericho-9mm-j941rs9
    It is an IWI clone of the CZ 75 series (P01, P01 Omegle and the PCR) It is a bit heavier, slightly less polished, less aftermarket. SA/DA with the decocker on the slide.

    I still want one so I'm staying away from the store that keeps em in stock cause :spending:

    I’m really liking that p-07. Did you say that initial trigger pull fired a round or no?

    Stock. SR5 Package #2.

    Does the light rail on the P-01 appeal to you?
    The 75 D is otherwise almost identical to the P-01, and a little sleeker

    Short answer, yes.
    After you rack the slide, it has a decocker, the decocker 'decocks' the gun about half way which gives you a double action trigger (which is roughly 11 pounds). The heavy trigger serves the purpose as a safety. Once the first round is fired it goes to single action mode, meaning all other rounds (after the first round) are in a much lighter trigger.
    I hope that makes sense.

    I've been looking at those too..its all so fucking confusing!!!

    Yes, this makes sense. Thanks. I also see what @amyracecar is saying about the trigger guard on the -07. I like the whole SA/DA and decocker. Looks like that would work for me.
