Just sent mine off to Wager to get the slide milled. Heard good things on Reddit as well. And they’re half the price of most others. Will report back with photos

Didn't know there was a Glock thread. Well here’s my carry. Optic, taller height sights, magwell and stippling were last weekends projects.

You won't be disappointed. They do fantastic work. When I have to remove my rmr to change the battery, there is no need to rezero the dot.

Question - I have a Glock 19 and am going to add to my collection with a Glock 17. Love my G19 but just like the feel of the G17. Any pros or cons to having both? Think that since they are so similar it’s not worth getting the 17? I shot one at the range recently and I was a little more accurate at longer shots 40 to 50’. Im likely going to get it anyway cause I just gotta have another Glock

    You could get a G45 - G19 sized slide/barrel with a G17 sized grip.

Can't really go wrong with a Glock 47. Socks with sandals not so much.

Dont rule out the glock 34.

    I have a Gen 5 G19, and I wanted a longer slide for a range/belt gun. Ended up settling on the Gen5 G34 and I love it.

I see no reason to buy a 17 now that the G47 exists. But you should also consider the G34 as an option too

now i’m torn between going G47 or G49. My 19 does not have a cut slide, so if i go to either, i pick up MOS and a longer slide. I’m personally leaning towards 49 because I can leave it alone, only add to it, and carry it. Where as, if i buy a 47, i have to rob the frame from my 19 to make it a more comfortable carry gun (thus turning it into a 49 anyway)…but then i’ll have big, medium, and small :anonymous:

This is what id suggest also. I have 2 19's and like the grip on the 17 better but the slide length of the 19. So I traded my 17 for a g45 and and bought a 19x. Try one out before you buy the 17.

My challenge is that living in California I can only purchase guns that are on California’s gun roster. It’s a limited list. Not all Glocks are on the roster. For the most part there are no gen 4 or 5’s on the list, only gen 3. I like gen 3 just fine so that not a problem. So each suggestion I have to check if it’s on the list. The primary reason Glock still makes gen 3 is due to the California market. I believe the G45 gen 3 is on the list and will check it out.

I hear you. I got my Glock shortly before WA's most recent restrictions were enacted. Big line and the gun shop.

    Glock didn’t make a model 45 in Gen 3

your options are 17, 19, and 26 in Gen 3

So I originally thought my aftermarket slide wasn't locking back bc it was too thin but I just now discovered the frame it's in is thinned in the area by the side stop than my own g19 frame. I just realized the serial number plate also doesn't go through the frame like my original G19. I bought this 2nd frame from my member here and 2 years later in just now realizing I may have not been sold an OEM frame.
Who makes this frame on the left? Glock ?
Notice the amount of space the oem fills in the slick lock lever compared to the one on the left.

It's supposed to be an OEM frame and has the Glock logo but looking at it now I'm pretty sure it's a fake Chinese knock off and I'm kinda pissed the guy on here sold it to me and pissed at my self I didn't realize how shitty the Glock logo looks now that in actually looking at it. Top one is the questionable one.
