    Hey Guys,
Sorry **** hasn’t made any videos lately. He’s taking pictures of the modifications but a lot of the stuff we (mostly me) have purchased before hand, so wouldn’t have to wait for parts have been wrong someway or another! Grrr… I.E. We purchased a new custom made wiring harness and the gentleman who made the harness didn’t ask for custom changes for the engine and we totally forgot about the deletion of the knock sensors in the Valley pan (Cam change would cause issues with the knock sensors) and etc… It’s an L33 from a 06 Silverado, the AC compressor was changed and moved, the alternator was moved, new Camaro PS, fuel injectors were changed and some other things that aren’t quite working out. But **** was planning on trailing the truck to a shop that specializes in making hoses so they could see exactly what they needed to make! Anyway **** apparently belongs to a car club that had a car show and decided to enter the truck in the “Under Construction” class. Well I can’t believe it took first place! :der:     Sorry I think that’s just crazy… :notsure:

(Edit) It turns out that **** didn’t tell the engine harness builder that the accessories had been relocated on the engine, and originally the computer was supposed to be mounted in the front, so the Engine Harness Builder built the harness to the specs that he would normally. The harness builder told me spent hours upon hours talking with and coaching ****. The Harness builder said if I pulled the Harness he would redo it and all I would have to pay is the shipping!

Well **** and he bride went on a 10 day vacation but he sent me a few more pictures before leaving.
I ordered two new “clips” :notsure: the plastic pieces that hold the connection of the AC lines to the lines coming from the fire wall.
    IMG_9947.jpg IMG_9946.jpg IMG_9951.jpg
Below is the New Sanden AC compressor Sadly we couldn’t use the 06 Silverado or the 04 Vette compressor’s.

    @MGMDesertTaco
Just wanted to say thanks for the support!! This project is as they say “My Bucket List” something I wanted to do for a long time! But I’ve never had the nerve to do it myself because I absolutely HATE wiring!
Just Ask Jeremy aka @Man of Steel TRD as he does 75% or more of my wiring projects!
    Thanks Jeremy!

Just a little update. **** has got more lines and hoses run. Got lucky and ordered an 07 Vette radiator hoses and they bolted in place. He had to split the lower hose in half to use a piece of 16” 6061 aluminum tubing that he got it powder coated black.
    IMG_0562.jpg
    Lower hose.
    IMG_0627.jpg
The below is the AC line, red cable to the starter and the PS cooler that was added along with an inline magnetic 3/8 Transmission filter Not really in the picture but, if you look at the upper right you can barely see it behind the AC line. I don’t think the truck really needs this but it can’t hurt. I hate hearing GM PS pumps.

Well the spark plug wires were easy enough. I purchased a kit to be able to make your own length plug wires. I purchased two sets and they were both too long. That’s why I purchased a set to be able to build your own and a tool to build plug wires that I will probably never use again. :notsure:

    Well,
**** went to start the truck and it wouldn’t start. He checked and rechecked the wiring for a full two days, and couldn’t find anything wrong that he could tell. He thought maybe it was the fuel pump because he could hear it cycle on, but there was no pressure on the fuel pressure gauge at the rails, plus he physically disconnected the fuel line and No fuel at the rail. At a dead end he decided to change the fuel pump because just maybe it went bad from setting so long. After installing another new pump he tried again and still no start. Check the pressure gauge on the rail and No pressure. WTF…
He goes to the closet disconnect from the tank and it has fuel under pressure. Connects the line and still no fuel pressure at the rail. Goes back to the next line and disconnect the line just the other side of the new fuel regulator and No fuel‼️ :frusty:
He has ordered another fuel regulator and I’m waiting to hear back from him. Sometimes this stuff just sucks!!

    (Edit)
turns out that **** had the fuel lines mixed up and spent DAYS trying to figure out what was wrong! Jesus, all he had to do was look at which way the fuel lines entered the tank and came out of the tank because he had the fuel pump in and out three or four times. A little common sense goes a long way, but I guess it could happen to anyone.

Getting closer! This is a temporary exhaust. I’m having basically the same made but using 2.5” & 3” 304 Stainless. Having the exhaust butt TiG welded, adding two more 14” Magnaflow’s for resonators then it will go up and over the rear and exit the OE location but with a hidden 3” turn down. The one skill I’d really like to learn!!

LCE in lake Havasu AZ. But sadly I don’t *think* there’s a wiring harness for the Heltech tuning for an 18. And if you have an auto you better plan on doing an engine swap or just get use to having 3 year olds on tricycles passing you… :boink:

I don’t know but you’re going to have a lot more HP! :anonymous:
