UPDATE; forgot to hit "enter" so never posted the above. I'm back, very tired, sore, dehydrated but glad all my shit is within 2 miles of where I'm currently living.

I have told my daughters to tie a rope onto my grandchildren and drag their ass through the mud. LOL. I don't want no damn girly grandsons.
#2 grandson made that happened. Finished second or third (who cares) in his second "Spartan" race. Father lost 153lbs and completed the race. Daughter lost 65lbs and finished the course as well.
I cannot tell you how proud I am of these folks.
This is getting it done.

Evening everybody, food coma. Went out with friends to a Chinese gourmet restaurant. Not sure what I ate, but it was really delicious. Jumbo shrimp and rice with noodles and a spicy sweet sauce. Great thing is plenty of leftovers, portions were huge.

@US Marine How did you fair with the storm/tornado? No damage I hope.

 

Not sure of any Damage and won't be able to see anything until tomorrow morning . This was the strongest Tornado I've experienced since the tornado that hit Hendersonville tn two years ago

Also just before the power went out I was watching fox17 weather and they mentioned the tornado was a huge rain wrapped tornado . I also heard that Hendersonville was hit very hard before it hit Gallatin

My wife is funny. We live in an apartment with our small son so we're pretty strapped for space. So we're trying to figure out where to put our X-mas tree this year and I suggested putting it on our patio and just keeping our curtains open. My wife says "but what if it rains ?" and I said "well it is a tree"

Waiting for sunrise to survey damage around my house and neighborhood . Not hearing no traffic on the main route thru Gallatin which is 31E Gallatin Pike Is not a good sign . Most of the significant damage news stations are reporting on is a mile east of my house
