BYND 4x4 Tactical Cap?

Just found this canopy

I met the guy that started the company at the BAMF last month. He had a prototype on his truck that looked pretty good but there were some fit and finish issues that needed to be worked out in manufacturing. Nice guy and price point seems in line for over seas manufacturing. Personally I would want to see a finished product on a truck before I dropped 3K+ on a cap from a small unknown company.

 

There is a thread on these somewhere, found it. You can order them off of Ali-Express or Alibaba and market them as your own. Same exact pictures provided in the link.

Does anyone know which ones on ali express, there seems to be a few that look exactly like the one from bynd. I'd obviously rather buy straight from the manufacturer rather than pay the premium

 

What is tactical about it? does it come with a .50 cal BMG?

 

Tactical is a buzz word and triggers all sedentary guys to sit up and pay attention and buy something that has tactical in the name of their product.
Fat? Out of shape? Non athlete? Dreamer?

Hehehe. Bingo. If these fools only knew what we really take with us to do our jobs…hell the economy for tactical would collapse. The best was in May when I was at FE Warren AFB and they had tactical air freshener dispensers for sale. WTF.

I thought we were done w the fad, but it is Al-hee-bobbi, so the items were ripped off/copied a year or so ago and working their way out of the crapline.

Has to give time for the Chinese factory to reverse engineer it, cheapen it and ship them across the ocean before claiming to come out with something new and tactical.

 

any shell has gear mounting points

what makes this one special is lack of windows or vents making it unable to sleep in (no way to breathe, get air in, reduce temps, or prevent condensation)

 

Its helpful when kidnapping and storing enemy bodies on the way to Black sites... So it is kinda tactical
