Good morning Delaware + TriState Area.

Cloudy and 63F here...looks like rain starts at 11am and continues through tomorrow.

    Enjoy your Sunday.

PHL @ DAL is the late game...I'll try and stay up for that one. (I usually get sleepy at 9pm)

    Other notables:

    MIN @ LV...Go Raiders!

    LAR @ BAL...Go Rams!

SEA @ SF...I like the Niners.

BUF @ KC...I like the Chiefs.

Another view of wife's Elantra. I truly enjoy driving her car.

    Welp,

Raiders & Rams lost but Niners won.

    Watching BUF/KC...hopefully, I to go 2-2.

That late game will be a thriller!

the rams/ravens was a good game, too tense for my liking as a ravens fan but a great outcome in my book.

Looking forward to the game tonight too! Both teams have been playing well.

Yeah..."tension" is the name of the game! lol

I use to get bent out of shape when my team would lose--I no longer react that way.

So I have some non-tacoma-related Delaware stuff...

Driving home from Wilmington saturday night, there were TWO sets of I-95 Racer kids. First set a G35/G37 was running afterburners being chased by a challenger - they were well into triple digits, which typically doesn't bother me, but because of traffic (and the eastern seaboard drivers' obscene obsession with the left-lane) they were really cutting across the lanes. 15 minutes later THREE effers - one subaru and two latest-body-style mustang GTs were legit racing. I saw the bru pass me on the left - then right up my tail one mustang went to the RIGHT and around me. Okay, there are three lanes here - I'll move over one more; SO GLAD I kept looking in the back because the 3rd car - another stang - was warp 3 up my tail and HE also went to the right of me, but barely missed (by a few feet max) rear-ending a car I was passing who was in the far right lane. Had I got over when I initially thought, the mustang would have smacked me (going 70ish) with him going (guessing) 115-125.

The question is - Is I95 thru Delaware regularly like that? If everyone stayed right, I wouldn't care if people drove 200mph on the freeways, but because either heavy traffic or left-lane campers, it's a piss-poor decision by those guys. Context matters for speed.

    Hey Darin!

I'm moving up in the world...going from Surgical Materials to Supply Chain Specialist for Boeing--C17 repair cycle support.

Currently training my replacement and cleaning up my area before I turnover the hat this Thursday.

Woo! Congrats! So, funny story, I'm a product of Boeing. Growing up, at one point, all my brothers and parents were either boeing or a sub-contractor of boeing. My parents were largely in the Renton, WA plant; me too for awhile, with brothers in Everett WA and auburn WA.

    @DetroitDarin

    Oh geeze,

I don't live up in New Castle County and I try to avoid driving up there at night.

Driving home for you is...northbound to PA?

Were you near Brandywine or Carrcroft/Gwinhurst/Claymont area?

I'm glad you are OK and sorry to hear about the other drivers.

    Well, small world!

I worked for them as a Contractor in 2013 for the QF16 Drone testing project...the USAF ended up buying the contract.

This time, it's a Blue Badge position! Woohoo!

I'll be getting a sticker for my truck that reads:

    "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going!"

    lolololol

I was going south to Aberdeen. I'll move to PA assuming my house reaches closing this, or next week. But that's way over in York County, so no I95 (thankfully). We were leaving friends, just northwest-ish of Claymore - erp...Claymont :)

good evening TW, today i finished installing (saturday install, today wiring) my new rough country light bar in the bumper. doesn’t look half bad but i honestly thought the bar would be brighter? honestly i’ve never seen a light bar in person and online pictures obviously never do justice. not sure if there is some sort of current loss somewhere or just an unrealistic expectation from a 9,000 lumen 20” bar.. either way i’m happy with it and it’ll at least suffice as my high beams so i can still have my fogs on (because fogs turn off when the high beams come on)

Good morning Delaware + Tri-State Area.

What NFL games last night--Titans & Giants are winners!

I'm staying home today...got an appt later today for wife & I to sign our Estate Planning/Wills.

What shall I do this morning?

    - Finish installing my dash cam which basically involves pairing it with my phone.

    - Tidy up the front yard by gathering the last of the fallen leaves.

    - Trip to Mall to buy wife some gifts/wrap kids gifts including wife's.

    Have a good day everyone.
