So have a 2010 tacoma with the blank fog light plastic inserts. I removed inserts and found female plug at each location. On my dash on left side there is a fog light switch. I figure there is a lot more experience in this forum then I have with Toyota's. So before u buy lights, would this b a normal option on these trucks, some plug and play? Truck is a 4x4, with 6 cylinder and an automatic. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or answers.

If the connectors are there odds are the truck is fully prewired for fog lights, you will need to install the relay and fuse for them in the underhood fuse box.
Odd that someone added the switch but not the lights.

Quick look into the engine bay fuse/relay box would confirm terminals for missing fog relay.:burp:

Use your volt-ohmmeter to check for switched voltage at the bumper connectors. That'll tell you lots.

Should be good to go to run some fogs. Highly recommend diode dynamics, their products are top notch and their customer support is out of this world
