I get it. Doesn’t seem right that some people put their lives on the line every day ( law enforcement and first responders) and can barely afford what they have and then some athletes make millions upon millions whether they have a good year or not. What really pisses me off are the ones (not all) but the ones who in recent years stopped standing for the national anthem. In no other country could they make that kind of money and show that amount of disrespect for the country they live in.

I 100% agree with you on what you’re saying. There are huge discrepancies in what we, as a people, believe is important.

Athletes get paid for what they’ve done and are typically way overpaid. However, I can’t hate on anyone for getting what they get. Sports is a multi billion industry funded by multi billion partnerships. Is it wrong? I’m not sure. I do know if sports went away this country would be in a bad space

My nephew plays as well…..Seth Blair ….not sure where he is at with things. Kind of became a head case and didn’t perform as expected and has bounced around since as he’s still wanting to play.

He did…. Was drafted 46th overall in 1st round. His parents said he became a head case that’s why I can repeat that. Threw fast, but out of control is what they said. Not sure what happened to him as he was so successful at Arizona State before he drafted. Things happen I guess :notsure:

Had another local kid make it big, Jake Junis, he drafted lower than Seth, but has done well for himself. Ya just never know.

No hate , really. He’s a great, great ball player But for that kind of money people should expect somewhat of an attitude from opposing fans . I highly doubt Boston even considered pushing for him. But if they did I expect that type of sarcastic tone .
As far as him not pitching during the regular season, I expect they would put him listed as a pitcher for the playoffs. If they make the playoffs .

I really enjoyed seeing them and the other top teams not getting past the first round.

I doubt the Sox will get out of the cellar again this season. We’ll see.

    Sorry if I’ve offended

I wonder if any of these teams that pay these huge contracts donate to the local school systems because school teachers don’t get paid shit. Wondering also if the luxury taxes go towards that. It should

No offense taken. It’s a sport that is full of a bunch of overpaid babies. It’s too expensive to take a family to a ballgame for most and the athletes are the bosses.

It doesn’t make sense from a business perspective, one bit. My rebuttal was simply, whatever you get paid to do your job, and if you negotiated that salary better than I did, I applaud you!

He was lights out in the World Series against the Dodgers. That very next year, Joe was signed to the Dodgers with a $25M contract for no other reason but to not allow him to beat the Dodgers again.

    It’s insane.

550$ here - there is one gun store that carries all the IWI stuff and has most of it in stock all the time.
Luckily it is like a 45min drive from me, in an area I don't usually go - otherwise - :spending:

I'm pretty sure that rail on the P01 is the only difference [I did my research like 2yr ago] - I just didn't like the way the PCR looked without that rail [the rounded part under the front of the barrel]; I probably won't ever put any light or laser on it, but it is nice to have the option.

I've had hot brass land on me and get caught in my bra!
Because I still had a loaded handgun in my hand - I couldn't react so I wound up with burns each time..

    THERE WILL BE NO PICTURES!!

    I second @Gritto and @Cooldood - I have a 20ga 870 too that I use for home defense.
Can't beat a shotgun for point/click type needs - very little aiming need
Plus, if someone doesn't run when you rack in a load - then - :notsure:

I actually negotiated a little. Put me anywhere, and in any town, regardless of whether the pay is $6 less an hour. Because I should be working in 4 different municipalities M-T and help out covering commercial routes or have my own on Friday. But I’m all over the place and they pay me accordingly because no matter where I go I finish the job. Some of the other newer municipalities we’ve obtained had really low pay compared to the others by $12 less , or more and until they just recently renegotiated significantly they put me in there. I wasn’t having it . So I’m up there with the others and don’t say shit and accept where they want me
