Still love the styling (and price) of this bumper, but I’ll just be a bystander.

Ended up going another route that fits my uses and build a little more appropriately.

Dissent Offroad aluminum high clearance bumper. The styling is different than most, and the welds out of their shop are pure art.

    Similar modular design.

Anyone know what other brands the C4 front skid will be compatible with? Seems like there skid has a Bend in the end to only be compatible with their skids. Currently running RCI full skids.

I been thinking about this too. I also have full RCI skids. That cross member delete and skid has me thirsty. First thought was the connection point between the C4 skids and RCI trans skid. Thats the only thing holding me up right now.

Looking at some photos from c4 site, YouTube install and RCI site I think it can work. The difference which I like is c4 uses through bolts that go through the center crossmember and have a thick washer and nut that go up top vs RCI uses stock threaded mounting points which one of mine have gave out (thinking from sliding across rocks). Both are in different areas so you’ll just need to line up the skids and drill 2 holes through the RCI skid for c4 through bolts. Also at the end of the c4 skids it angles for joining points for there remaining skids. Obviously those won’t be used. May just need to install thick washers like the ones that come with RCI skids where the 2 skids join.

The rear piece that folds up is what had me on the fence. It might just need to be cut off so the skids will sit flush on top of the RCI tans skids.

Yea. I was thinking about that too. Just didn’t want to cut it Incase I ever change skids. But honestly feel I’ll stick with RCI for remaining skids if I can. C4’s have a 8 week lead time, RCI’s skids usually ship the same week you purchase.

Spoke with C4 today. Just trying to see if it’s possible to mount lights in the bumper. Was told it can be but just need to fab up something. Also was thinking of mounting LP4’s to the top of the bumper and they said it will be tight, only about 1”-1/2” of space and not sure if it will work. Bumper sits really tight to the truck which is a good thing.

I still have the set of S1's that will try to mount near the point where the bumper attached to the frame and that will be it. I have a 40" S8 RR mounted, 30" behind the grille & Squadron Sport as ditch lights so don't really need much more lol

Yea that’s a lot of light lol. I currently have a 20” BD racer edition onyx light bar and BD fogs. Might throw the light bar behind the grill and possibly some s1 or S2 SAE. I don’t really do much night runs. But when I do I like the light.
