We made a campfire for the first time while shooting the Saturday after thanksgiving. Kept asking ourselves when we didn’t do that before while shooting in the winter. Was nice for keeping warm.

I was bitten by the revolver bug a few years ago after buying a GP100. Since I have bought an SP101, a Taurus Ultralight 856 (for carry) and my latest the new Python. I love shooting all of them, well except the 856 it kinda stings after a hundred rounds or so but not as bad as my LCP II .380 (another carry).
Looking at a Redhawk right now.
Actually my two carry go-to’s are my SR9C (great size and weight, nice trigger, fits my large hand well while being compact and a 15rd mag option, (or the ten with extended floor plate), and my all time favorite range pistol (I crave to shoot this piece it has a freakishly amazing trigger out of the box) a Ruger 1911 lightweight Commander series in 45acp. Dead balls accurate, easy recoil with fast target acquisition and has a titanium feed ramp so the hollow points don’t beat up the frame.
I carry the SP101 at times, I just don’t like the 5 round cap.

A bunch of my buddies and I go out camping and shooting twice a year. Because of family schedules it usually ends up being during the rainy season (late fall, early winter, or spring). We set up 4 10x10 canopies in a square and pull a big tarp over the top so the rain doesn't leak between the canopies. I prop the center of the tarp up with a "pole" I made out of a cheap telescoping aluminum pool skimmer handle and a couple crutch tips. Light a fire near one side and viola!--400 square feet dry camping and shooting space.

Unfortunately, the abandoned road to our usual secret spot has become so washed out and overgrown that most of the participants won't drive their vehicles up there any more.

^^^ We do something similar, a weekend camping trip to go into the boonies to shoot steel. Ever shoot steel plates? So much fun, we use a lot of 22….. well because it’s cheap and accurate.

We pretty much exclusively shoot steel these days. Try to get out at least once a month.

    I know the feeling.

I'm still trying to debate if I should get a suppressor for my AR, though I know I'm limited to a key-mo style attachment.

why? do you have a muzzle device pinned and welded? key-mo isn't bad though. I use them for 30cal guns. My 5.56 is Surefire. For 9mm I use 3-lug. All have been good to me.

Yes there are. Mr. Kirk on YouTube covers them. Ten day waiting period for all guns.

16.5, just shy of 18 with the device, with the option of changing it out if desired in the future. Needed to replace a ebay muzzle device I had for a few years after I had a small strike on the tip and didn't feel safe shooting it.

300yrds is the longest I've pushed it so far, but I'm hoping to do some long distance range days.

looking good. I also want to take my AR's out to longer range. I've only shot bolt guns out at ranges past 300.

Well then it doesn’t sound like you’re limited to keymo. You could swap it out any mount you want.

I get wanting to use what you got but I also wouldn’t limit my can selection just because I own a muzzle device. Not to mention I don’t think I’d be shopping for a Dead Air can right now given the recent Sierra 5 customer service debacle.

yes muzzle devices can be swapped out pretty quick.

I think the Warcomp is good on an AR with or without a can. I have a LaRue Tranquilo brake and it actually pushes the muzzle down if you don't grip it tight. And it's loud as hell.
