I am using your disc @Firn . What’s an example of a low viscosity DOT 3 fluid that’s easy to find in the US? A quick lazy search did not turn up a comparison table, and results with LV or low viscosity in the name were DOT 4 products.

i actually just bought the Toyota fluid a few hours ago, not expecting an answer here, and figuring it as least would be the same as what it came with.

I see you got the Toyota fluid, no problems with that.

I use the Pentosin LV, but you are right, that is dot 4 iirc

warranty is by Toyo, you should be able to get help from your local dealership(s). I have had warranty covered work and maintenance done by a couple of local dealerships.

I bought my OR new in 2022 from a dealership in PA and drove it back home to AZ. I would not take my truck back to that dealership even if they were 5 minutes away.

I had the TSB work done for a squeaking clutch pedal and couldn't push the pedal in far enough to start the truck. We had to push the override button every time to start it. It feels fine since the dealer adjusted it. I think its a really light clutch , I have a 1972 Corvette LT1ZR1, if I drove that everyday my left leg would be double the size of my right leg!

I have to push mine way down to start it also. I'm thinking there ought to be an adjuster down by the pedal somewhere I can dial out so I don't have to push the clutch in so far. I haven't looked yet, but it's on the list of things I want to do.

@Firn --- I see sold out on your Ebay listing. Do you know when you'll be getting time to make up a few more delete discs?

The ergonomics were made for someone around 5’4” I think. I can’t fit my leg between the released clutch pedal and the wheel, have to keep my knee kicked out to the side. And the friction zone is so high I realized most of the modulation is being done by my ankle since I run out of room for my leg. This gets pretty bad with work boots on. I did notice this at the dealer, “oh I will get used to it, after all they wouldn’t be building them like this for the better part of 2 decades if the ergonomics were bad for someone who is literally dead average in more or less every physical manner..” But for anyone still wondering, no, no I have not gotten used to it.

I just picked one up. I've been wanting to fix this sporadic feeling clutch for awhile now. Thanks.

Glad you won the fight, guessing an old Atlas lathe or similar - you have the advantage in mobility, but it's got you outweighed.

Ha! You guessed it. 1947 Atlas Craftsman 12" to be exact.

It was all my fault, grinding cutoff bars always bites me.
