    Wasn’t it reported late 2023?

then they’ll report some shortage of som part and then it’ll be 2024.

    I agree
The EV movement has a few issues. One of the biggest I see is the lack or the sparsity of church stations. Yes, there are quite a few I guess in large cities. Outside of those they seem to be rather sparse.

Additionally, how many states infrastructure currently cannot support the electrical demand as it is. You had a few million EV did the state of California and what is going to happen? They can barely keep their lights on 24 hours a day as it is.

I don’t see EV is being an option for me, even for a round town, commuter car, or essentially a golf cart, for a decade or so.

Yes, I see the Tacoma is a very viable option still. In fact, I picked one up at the end of March. Extremely happy with the Sport DCSB

When reading this thread just remember to filter out the non 3rd gen owners. The jealousy in their posts is almost embarrassing. They just can't admit they bought an inferior product.

Damn straight, get the 2023 if you want the best looking Tacoma ever produced. 4th gen looks genaric and the interior is hideous.

Well not to defend him, but the 2024 TRD OR starts at $41,800 for 4x4. The 2023 started at $39,420 for a 4x4 manual DC (since 4x2 is no more in OR). Not quite $10,000 more. You give up some options and gain some (no std power driver but get std LED headlights).

The 2023 Tacoma TRDOR 4x4 6spd started at $37,075.00 with $1,335.00 destination - $38,410 total. And the equivalent model in 2024 costs $43,295 after destination. It's about a 5K increase YOY.

Still obviously not 10K, but still a decent jump. You're right about LED headlights though, they were a $485 standalone option in 2023, so I guess it's closer to a $4,500 jump.

Also getting standard bed lighting, BSM, and wireless CarPlay. Losing standard power rear window, so odd how they de-content certain features that made the Tacoma standout v competition.

Yeah the bed lighting it whatever with how cheap they were to add to 3rd gens. Standard BSM and wireless carplay are huge though.

Didn't know about the rear window. That's a wild choice.

For those that don’t want to go back in time.
Specifically quoted TRD OR with options … regardless if you get more 54k seems spot on for a loaded OR

Here’s 2 for $63k. That’s $20k more than what people are paying for 2023 TRD OR Premiums. That price doesn’t even include the hybrid engine, which will likely take the cost to $70k for a Tacoma.

2023 is still a great buy, especially now when dealers are taking nearly $5k off msrp on them.
