New wheels arrived today! A few minor scratches on them mostly on the back so nothing to really worry about. Overall pretty stoked! Now to get some tires on these bad boys and mount’em up!IMG_3575.jpg

What’s up everyone, new to the group, had a handful of 80s Toyotas and just picked up a 2023 trd off-road last month I’ve decided I definitely want to get a set of SCS F5s and I love the aggressive look of the 16x8 -25 (3.5BS) and I was wondering if anyone is running those on stock suspension with either 265/75r16s or 255/80r16s. Planning to lift later on in the future but really want to get the wheels now. Any pics / info would be greatly appreciated, cheers

Thanks. I'll keep an eye peeled, although silver seems to have been one of those special run powder coat options that I'm likely not going to have an easy time sourcing... I'll see what happens with trading my truck in first.

All the stars will need to align in order for me to switch trucks, but if the deal is right I'll be getting another set of F5s

@dextertron the Taco looks fantastic with that wheel/tire package. You will have to post back how those Mickey Thompsons perform off road and in snow.

I think I can say I notice it because upgrading from factory wheels and factory-sized tires I notice nothing at all except some road noise and a slightly bigger ego lol

I went from 265/70/17 ultraterrains in load range E to 265/70/16 unltraterrains in SL and noticed smoother acceleration off the line, so-to-speak, for the first couple days. I wanna say it was close to a 11 pound difference per tire. I don’t really notice it much anymore, likely because I got used to them, but I was also a bit surprised I saw no real improvement in MPG’s that I could discern. Could be because I accelerate faster now, could be other factors I haven’t thought of, but a little surprising nonetheless.

Recently replaced one of my curb rashed F5 wheels. Anyone else get bronze wheels from different batches that are totally different colors? Guess I can get em all powder coated another color if it really starts to bother me. The sheen is different as well.
