Chuck Jonkel mentioned that in the press some years ago that bears get addicted to PCP after being tranquilized in research studies so often... (Back when he worked out of the Montana Cooperative Wildlife Research Unit at UM in Missoula.)

Damn, human tweakers are bad enough. Creating bear tweakers could be a real problem. Or… we could just point them at the local dope dealer’s house and let ‘em go to town on it!

I also love the 9” joying, it’s great. Did you plastidip the trim for the screen? And also the vent surround?

I also suggest looking on Amazon at the much less expensive Atoto head units. I bought 2 and my son and I are extremely happy with them. Had my 7" model for 18 months that is still around $150. Same features as Joying. They also make 9" models for around $190. Pictured is my 7". They have gps, wi-fi, navigation, f/r camera inputs, android auto and apple carplay.

Thanks!... Do your steering wheel controls work with it?

was reading an article about some town in California who has been mentioning that some coyotes and racoons have been acting strange and a rep from the local Emergency deps stated that with all the fentanyl and other drugs being used in meth that some animals are being dosed in the water supply and may act weird, since some people are flushing it.

If I hadn't bought a nice Kenwood and the maestro setup just before these became a thing I'd be all over a Joying system. I like it's bigger screen and the phone based OSs flexibility in what you can do compared to carplay which is limiting.

I had my sights set on a nice KW unit. When the Atoto's came out, at 1/2 the price, I figured I would take a chance on it. I have been amazed with the features and sound output. I don't use android auto often. I prefer just using the phone hotspot to have the internet access. I use youtube concert videos all the time, I use waze a lot, and most of music is played from my always connected usb drive. At the price I figured it was a disposable unit. After 6 months I was so happy with it I put one in my kids 2012 Taco and he loves it. I am considering buying one as a spare for my next vehicle or as a replacement if mine ever fails. What other touch screen can you buy for $150 and be happy with it.

I never considered the remote disk option, I could see throwing a 2.5" 500gb ssd behind the dash and have my entire Music and GPS track library at my fingertips. I often find myself in areas with no cell signal so offline music and nav is a must.

I referred to you on a FB group recently. Someone asked how a Prerunner could dare have a 4 wheel drive decal.

LOL. Representing the 2nd Gen, thanks AI.

This looks really nice! I've been thinking of the 9'' Joying, and seeing the all black surround has got me thinking. Not going for a full blackout, but that does look nice. How's the sound quality from the Joying?

Also appreciate the other input from @mrproduxn for alternatives.
