Well with this really weird rain day today I was able to sound deaden my passenger door..JUST Before the deluge. So now both doors deadened and Woofers installed...Sounds pretty good already.
If you know you know...but PLEX AMP app has an amazing equalizer that compensates for a lot of factory head unit issues...and can stream FLAC... It used to require a sub but I think the audio app is free now.
AMAZING sound already....

I'm probably in the minority here, but I decided wireless Android Auto is dumb.

It goes through battery way too fast. If I'm going to need to take my phone out of my pocket to charge it, I might as well plug it in where it'll charge faster and not generate heat from casting and charging wirelessly.

I also hate that it pops up every single time I get in the truck - I really only use it on long trips. I haven't managed to disable that. I might just disable wireless AA entirely.

 

Oh, yeah mine EATS battery life. It's great for bobbing around town and to/from work, now that my commute is 7 minutes and when it was 15-20. Mine is a wireless carplay adapter.

PS - one of the things is wireless charging, people use wireless carplay and charging. I think mine would work with that, but my charger is blocked by my radio, AND I have card-slot cases that bork wireless charging, so that doesn't work for me

Yup..I despise my phone "wireless" connecting to the car...I prefer to use the USB wire, charge it, Mount it...
I will say I've already adapted to the carplay...The built in Mic in the 3rd gen is fantastic. Wife said it sounds perfect. Also the carplay read text/reply is also very nice.
But always plugged in...I think womenfolk prefer the bluetooth that way they can just leave it in their purse...but I don't want a wallet in my pocket when I'm driving let alone an oversized hot phone...
