I bet that's why I was able to buy it for what I did. I already have people offering me $18k for it. The thing literally feels brand new.

It's the 8 ft bed I think. More utility as a work truck. And these Toyotas with the 4.7 seem to bring in good money. Seen it with the Tundra, GX470, 4runner...

8' bed, barebones utility vehicle, general growing distrust of modern technology and the astronomical prices of newer models....

Just the "telemetry" data that the newer vehicles send and recieve is concerning...

It even had the original sticker on it along with dealer add on. It was owned by an older gentleman who passed away and his widow sold it to a Nissan dealership.

Even AC was an option! This thing is as barebone as they can be I guess!

Out of caution I had the timing belt and water pump changed, but when we took of the cover, we discovered it had already been changed (still did it anyway so I don't have to worry about it for another 10 years).

I wish I could keep my cars as flawless as this guy had kept this truck! Unfortunately, now myself and my handyman use it as a truck! Lol!

I need that quote on a patch for my work shirt

Can be opted out of when you buy new but when you buy used your roll in the dice there. I'm also not sure how much that they actually turn off even if you do opt out of it...

    Good times

I'm not trying to start the journey down that rabbit hole again. There is some class action against one of the big manufacturers for swiping stuff just via bluetooth... I think.

Anyway, something about "If they aren't doing it and I thought of it first..."

Welp, going on strike in March. Company wanted to give us garbage so we told them what we think about it.

Good luck with that. I can't get interviews for anything internally because the system is broken. They switched to some automated program to 'weed out' applicants and it's broken. They accidently deleted a ton of applicants last go round and we had to reapply.

Besides, If the company can't pay us what we're worth on this side, what makes you think they'll give me any sort of reasonable offer on the other?

Plus, none of us have BA's. Which seems to be all they care about, not experience.

I've hired a few internals without even an AA. I have to manually push the resume through since HR likes to screen them automatically and doesn't see the value in experience...I do.
