Just had it done and looks great! $350 cash for my truck and saved me a messy job and time. I saw a FJ get turned away because frame was too rusted, owner Chris said he gets so many customers he’s looking to open another garage just for newer cars, booked into January already

I know of a trail or two, and a few potentials that I haven't checked out yet because I'm waiting to find at least one other truck to come with me.
I'm saving up for a winch to get out there solo more often.
Everyone I know who loved to wheel just likes to sit on the couch and drink these days :burp:

I took off my spare (they said they could if I gave them the spare tire tool) and I got rid of my running boards so they can get inside the rocker panel + they took off the splash guard under the oil filter
They use clear or black WoolWax

A bit of a longshot here, but does anyone have the factory 'skid plate' off of a 3rd gen TRD OR that they've taken off? I am looking to add a Fumoto valve to my SR5 but would prefer to add the 2nd plate that covers the oil pan before doing so.

Lol that would be nice, but it would be a financial and functional waste for what I use my truck for

Well it looks like I should have stopped and looked on here before giving Kevin Nagle a call and ordering a set a hubs from him. I’ve ordered about 5 set from him over the years with no issues, I even picked up a set from him last year. But it looks like he got me. I hope the shit bag feels good about burning someone he knew personally and right before the holidays.

Yeah. It suck especially when it’s someone you think you can trust. Meanwhile I have a friends truck that is sitting in front of my house for a week now that needs bearings and had now problem taking my money and telling me he was sending them ASAP. What a real shit bag. I’ve actually hung out with this guy before and he always seemed cool. What an asshole.

Thanks for sharing your experience with him on here. Hopefully you can find some replacement parts soon.

Side note - any NJ surfers on here?

I hounded him for 5 years to get a single hub I was owed. I got one out of twenty of the text back I sent him. Was actually surprised at a certain point he didn’t block my number. It went from “it’s in my truck I gotta stop by and drop it off” several times to “I gotta dig out my press and make you one”. I even tried to find his house to show up like wtf homie… but he moved, I heard he lives with his parents in Whiting now. Someone at my job knows his brother. But to blow my fucking mind one day five years later I guess I bugged him enough he dropped one off, I wasn’t home at the time. He claimed it “over stock” and been sitting on the shelf for a while but looked ok. I installed it and shortly later if failed. I’m basically done with it at this point. Sorry to hear he got you. I woulda told you to steer clear if I knew. Same as you with a decent past relationship I couldn’t believe who he turned into. Oh my neighbor actually knows him too and told me over the summer he was fired from his job for stealing. If you text me I’ll send you the link.

Coming home from work yesterday in Chadwick beach they had 35 south shut down and detoured southbound on 35 north. Lavalette bay side was underwater. Saw the neighborhood flooded leaving for work early morning, then came home to see it again. The lagoon was over the bulkhead across from my house.. Ton of water everywhere yesterday
