For conversation purposes, what else? Find the “diesel vs gas vs hybrid vs ev” topic entertaining. And apparently so do a lot others since the topic is discussed to ad nauseam. This whole forum is on constant repeat no matter the topic at hand, so I am not the only crazy one. :)

If Toyota had the Work Mate available here, it would be the answer.

$36K USD for a practical 4WD work truck with a tray makes sense to me. $60K hybrid halo trucks don’t.

$54K AUS = $36K USD (roughly) build it in Mexico to get around the chicken tax, done. I run premium in my trucks so the fuel cost works out to be similar, the range in the diesel would be nice for living in the West. Have come close to not making fuel stops. Might be worse in the 4G since to decreased the capacity from 21 to 18. Be ok if it got 30 mpg, instead it didn’t change all that much.

Exactly, you quoted Woodsy in Post #17346 who said it was canceled from Mid-Sized Trucks, no mention of Silverado.

I saw 3.0 and went to half ton, the 2.8L is the Colorado motor. Just confusion, all good now.

Should be the last truck you would ever have to buy though… :) not crazy about the cab configurations though. ACLB works very well for me.

While I have yet to see the Tacoma in person, I personally think the Tundra looks cheap on the inside. From the photos and videos, the Tacoma to me looks of a higher perceived quality.

Not that the Tundra necessarily has a bad interior, it’s just that if you go sit in a new Ram or F150, the Tundra feels inferior

RAM did a great job with their big screen integration. Buttons on the side for HVAC. I just hate their shift knob.

Sorry but the f150 shifter on the tremor looks cheap as hell

Since there’s nothing new to talk about with the Tacoma has anyone watched this Turd Pro Sequoia video. It’s a nice looking SUV but it’s pretty terrible off road for such an expensive “off-road” vehicle. The rear storage space is also horrendous due to the hybrid battery. Another offroad vehicle with no front row hooks again too.

Agreed but it doesn’t even have enough storage for a bag of soccer balls with the third row seats up. Strange vehicle that doesn’t seem to know what it wants to be.

Way over priced as well even for the off road model

I don't think they are selling very well either.

That's probably how the Tacoma is going to offroad.
