Yes, been running them on different vehicles for several years now. They are by far the best I have ever used.

Auto parts stores pretty much will not sell PIAA level silicone blades, because they make a lot of money selling blades that fail in one season over and over again. I get mine online from walmart, Amazon or ebay.

I "installed" one of these. It isn't as fast since I'm only putting 12v to the 24v heaters, but it works very well -with time-. If you have a long enough commute that your coffee gets cold, then...

(Made for pouches so the burrito is a cinch. The coffee cup would have to be propped up. Would still heat as long as the cup material allows it.)

(by "installed" I mean that I changed the mil-spec cannon plug to an auto cigarette lighter plug and then screwed down some metal on the rear-platform wood for the magnets on the bottom of the pouch to adhere to. It sits right behind my center console.)

[IMG] one side platform board is removed in this photo.

    ^^^^^^^^ This

I have a short bed and it suits my needs, that's why I bought it. I use this truck for pleasure only, mostly a "Street Princess" right now, but in the future when I'm done dealing with cancer, she'll get a lift and new tires and we'll do some offroading.

I need a full size vehicle for my work, so even a long bed Tacoma wouldn't work for me. But, to each their own, that's why we have choices, right?

    Almost right.
My LB has the same wheel base as the SB.

Very good point! I overlooked the ACs. Thanks for keeping me on track.

I got the short box cuz it was the truck I chose when at the dealership. I actually went there to test drive a handful and brought one home the next day. Would I like a long bed? Sure. But I do t need one. I have a Super Duty for big truck stuff. I bought my taco for a commuter and park in parking garages all over the city so it fits my needs as an everyday driver. I bought a taco to have the best small truck out there and I’m still impressed months later how well built this thing is and a joy to drive.

Threw some Christmas lights on the bed rack, added some cheapo LED footwell lighting for night travel during the holidays (it actually matches the interior lights pretty well), and picked up my first tool chest from Santa (aka the wife). :santa:

    Terrible quality photo, whoops.

Ya I agree the Q wireless charger isnt the greatest. I couldnt get it to work with my iPhone with my case on it. However, it works great for airpods!

I agree. I was able to drive a used '19 OR at the dealer before I put down my deposit last fall just to be sure. And then I ended up paying the same for my '22 as for the '19 they had on the lot. The only difference is that I could have had the '19 right away instead of waiting 5 weeks.

Love my LB! I never considered a SB so it took me a while to find mine. So glad Toyota has options for us all. Sad they got rid of the AC for the 4th Gen, guess I will be keeping this truck for a long time, which is totally ok :D

Yeah, I love my LB. My truck is also my personal truck, and not my work truck.
I use my truck not for work stuff, but for camping and normal day to day hauling stuff.

As for off-road stuff, indeed the DCLB needs a lift/CMC/pinch for anything hard core at all, but once you get those and get used to the length, it's not really any different than any other truck.
After hitting up 6 EJSs with Jeeps it is a change, but really it's only the trails you could do with a SB and not a LB are the super tight trails and +7 trails.
Anything up to 7s with obstacles is definitely possible, but I bought my LB for towing our off road trailer, which we do go hard with, but nothing 7 rated or higher.

Thank you! I’ve done most of the work to it myself, minus the lift and regear. It’s been a lot of work but I have the look right where I want it! Plus it’s functional for my job and camping.
