How do you or even can you add a spacer on the rear axle for a 1 inch lift. The stock blocks are spot welded to the axle and the leaf spring.

That’s a perch, the block goes between the spring and perch.

Yes you can get lift blocks w/U- bolts. Stock blocks? They don't come with blocks from factory. Are you referring to perches on axle, what springs sit on. If so they are welded to axle.

No money, all went to truck...
I installed Firestone airbags on my 2nd gen. They were pretty awesome. Loved the adjustability of it. Haven't installed in my 3rd gen.

stock does not use blocks. Or welding.

The axle has a mounting point. Leaf springs are a replaceable component. They are held together with a retaining pin and bump stop w/ bracket over top of it. Held to the axle shaft with U-bolts.

I'm looking at installing the Firestone set in the rear too. Did you get rid of your Jounce Bumper completely or cut it based on their recommended cut height?

Having swapped leaf springs about 4 days ago I can tell you they are not.

I may be hazy memory, but I just bought a Toyota OEM 1/2" rear block to correct my drivers side taco lean (as opposed to a 1/2" block that goes into the leaf pack, e.g. toytec).
I thought it came on one of the models on newer Tacomas, which is why it was OEM.
