    Department 56 has numerous villages, and the one we have is Christmas in the City. Due to my obsession with a certain coal mining town about two hours north of my house, and my personal opinion that my little village resembles a slice of how that village may have looked right before the USA joined WW2, I have dubbed my village "Centralia"!

    My biggest reasoning for calling it Centralia is that the real Centralia was quite large in its heyday, and the presence of evergreen trees in my setup reminds of a large town in the mountains...
