And im sure record debt as wages aren’t correlating. But that’s for another thread.

I'm still unsure of the gen-4 towing capability, and have my current Gen-3 not only paid off, but also set up with lift, gears, AM bumpers, tune and tires/wheels, I can't even remotely begin to entertain the idea of buying a 2024.
However, in 10 years or more I'm thinking the actual verdict will be in on the gen-4 and I can make a decision on a replacement.

People need to calm down…take a breath.

The inflation charts clearly show that a $5000-$10,000 year-over-year price hike is perfectly normal, and besides, several people have informed me that the ‘24’s are at least $10,000 better than my loaded ‘23 OR. So nothing to see on the configurator, please remain calm.

Wait a minute…we still don’t know hybrid prices and now even “TRD Jon” says they’re expensive?

    Nevermind, we’re all getting screwed…

It’s going to take you 10 years to decide if you want a 4th gen?

Yes they will. And if we’re being honest, for what it’s worth, at least they’ll be getting a really good truck. Probably class leading.

    Will be fun to watch.

lol - no, I just figure in 10 years+ when I'm ready for a replacement truck, I'll know for sure or not if it should be a Gen-4 Taco.

For those complaining about toyota making too much profit...feel free to buy stock so you can share in it.

But not as many people as before, IMO. The door is open for a (better-MPG?) mid-size truck to take away Tacoma sales, IMO.

I bought a lot of coolers and inflater's if I am honest to reach that number. No way all those coolers would fit in the truck to haul away ha.

Unfortunately, I don't think the configurator is exactly right as it only allows one package to be added. So you can't really option one out with say mudflaps and the 14" screen. It just goes with whatever you last selected. So it could get even pricier than the casual number I was getting before coolergate occured.

Still insane that it currently looks to be about a $5700 price jump though model to model.

I'm already in the "Why not Both" category here.

I think you all should run out and buy a new Tacoma. I'm not, but you should...

Hopefully more combos can be added. I want 3 premium packages on my truck.

I tried to add heated seats, then clicked on the 14” screen and the heated seats went away.

turns out heated seats and 14” screen is a separate package

Goods news is Toyoguard Platinum remains the same at $699. That’s a relief if you buy through SE Toyota Dist b/c there’s a good chance it’ll be on the sticker.
