I am wanting to get everything ordered to do raptor lights in my grill and have them run with the oem led headlights. When ordering the lights, do I need to get them with the drl harness so that I can connect them to the harness that you make or an add a fuse? Or do I need to order nothing with the lights and just your harness?

I do not need to purchase an add a fuse or drl harness from the company with the raptor lights, just your harness, correct?

As linked above plus eBay raptor lights for $20 - $22 ish. I like smoked cause they blend in when parked. Reference this for the steps you’d have to do:

If you want to ship to me I can crimp on the connector for you and include with your harness but most people find it easy enough to source a heat gun or borrow a hair dryer.

That is the correct harness if you have OEM LED headlights from the factory.

I assumed from your initial inquiry that you were converting halogen to LED headlights, I'll consider that my mistake.

No worries! Obviously you know way more than I ever will! Lol that being said, do I just need one to be able to run all 3-4 raptor lights? And the driver/passenger selection is just for preference?

They are symmetrical so D vs P is purely about wire color matching and/or as a means for me to know what people are trying to do / guide them towards recommendations vs "order 2 of the same thing".

For grille lights w OEM LED headlights, just one LED T is all you'd need, that has everything. For DD backlight or any higher current needs, you'd need extra stuff but my grille lights were 100 mA so well within negligible additional load on the DRL/Parking light circuit.

@daveeasa Sorry if this has been answered, I have a yota xpedition pro grill with raptor lights. It has a harness that normally uses a add a fuse and ground connection. I have Led's from factory so I would just need to get this harness https://fbchs.square.site/product/t...rue&sa=false&sbp=false&q=false&category_id=12 correct? I would just add the connector from your kit to the raptor harness and plug it in? The raptor lights would then work with DRL/Parking lights and would turn off when switched off correct? Thank you so much for your time and response.

    Exactly.

Refer to this for connecting to the supplied pigtail:

Killer so ya just splice the two into the connector and plug it all in. Thats an amazing fix for us guys who hate wireing hahaha. Your kit looks to come with everything needed thank you again

That is the idea but I get no feedback on this part so I'm not sure how easy it is for others. I have a bit of an advantage with heaps of tools, supplies and experience so I'm useless for refining things without feedback from those who are new to things.

Some of that feedback drove the heat shrink labels and color coding on the OEM LED conversion harness. So feel free to let me know how it goes and/or if you see potential improvements to the instructions or supplies.

One more question @daveeasa, with the above harness are the grill lights on when the headlights are on? Or just DRL's? Thank you

The stuff I build feeds Parking Lights and DRL through a diode module which outputs 12v whenever either (or both) are on. So, stalk off == no grille lights, anything else == grille lights on. Your parking lights take over and the ecu disables drl when the stalk goes from parking lights to low beams (or when in auto mode if darkness is detected by the ambient light sensor which then kicks on low beams).

Kick ass will be ordering this week sir, thank you so much for the quick reply. Just wanted to make sure they would be working when auto turns the lows on. So basically only on DRL off will they be off.
