Does Lebanon use the same CB frequencies as the US?

My guess is a US cb radio won't do anything for you there.

US CB frequencies range from 26.965 to 27.405 MHz.

Yes, it's true that a pair of simplex radios will technically talk to each other in any country. If all you need to do is communicate with other people in your party at close-ish range (and don't care about the legality, like would probably be the case if shit hits the fan), then that could be a potential solution.

If you need to use repeaters to go longer distance. Or if you care about legality. Or if you would like any chance of talking to other people outside your party, then you'll have to use frequencies allocated for the use you are looking for in your location.

Honestly, in Lebanon you can probably just buy whatever radio you want and use it.

Why not? As long as it can be legally imported there, of course.

I'd put a big asterisk next to using an out of country CB. Yes, you can talk on those frequencies, but will anyone be listening/talking back? I'd verify before buying or get a radio that allows you to dial in the specific frequencies (akin to Baofengs being used to listen [and talk - illegally] on frs/gmrs frequencies).

Ok so I did some research and this is what we use here. Can radios on Amazon usa support this? What radio would you recommend?

    thanks.

Those are HAM radio frequencies not CB which are 26.965 - 27.405 MHz. The issue is that each channel on the US CB is set to a specific frequency and not adjustable by the front dial. You just turn to channel 21, for example, and that is a single frequency in that range. I would suggest getting a CB radio specifically made to run on the frequencies in the Middle East.

    "Middle east CB channels", lol

What's Lebanon's RF and importation/regulatory scenario currently? I'd figure that stuff out first. Double check ITAR.

Or maybe find one of these guys and see what's up, RAL doesn't look like it's been active lately.
