Has anyone bought from this instagram account? Seems sketch to me. Let me know if you’ve had any experience with them.

There’s a bunch of these on Instagram. All scams. Stolen photos. Take money, account deleted, make new acct, rinse and repeat.

also the fact that all photos are of different backgrounds, etc should’ve been warning enough…

This. I haven’t seen it for Tacoma parts specifically but they are all over Instagram for bourbon resellers. As stated above. All different backgrounds and types of photos because they are stolen from real ads.

Only legit one I know of is vilmont. These photos were probably ripped from that profile.

    Dont. Buy. Shit. From. Instagram.

Online purchasing has been around for over 30 years now. How is it that people are still blindly trusting the "look at my pretty website, lemme see your credit card" game?

With the many sources for buying parts, why would anyone ever buy on instagram, as it's meant for social media-entertainment-educational purposes?

Unless they were local, and it was an in-person deal, there's no reason at all to entertain any such ordeal.

    Why even consider it?

i admit, this one nearly got me.

    https://bmillenli.com/products/-6-i...ting-removal-laser-cleaning-machine?preview=1

it was a video ad on facebook marketplace. i was hunting for a parts trailer, thought; hey, for $30, i've got plenty of rust to clean up... but instead of buying on some random new site, i started searching more legitimate sites like ebay for the same thing. when the first result was an $8,000 machine, i realized it's probably not anything they indicate it is.
