    Lol! No thanks!

Though do like The Tragically Hip. Most Americans never heard of them. Have been listening to the Fully Completed album lately, haven’t listened to it in years.

Recently discovered The Pack a.d. too, like Funeral Mixtape.

Agreed. We’re talking fractions of a second here. No one is noticing that in daily driving.

Why did they limit the top speed from 113 to 106? What if I’m late for work?

I obviously haven't driven the new Tacoma, but I owned a 2018 Infinity Q50 Twin Tubo 3.0, and have test driven numerous turbo trucks including the Ranger. My experience is the low-end torque makes a huge difference in the driving experience. Even though I'm satisfied with the performance of my minivan powered 3G, the turbo engine is what I would probably enjoy the most in the 4G if I were to buy one.

The 50-70 time is 10% quicker as is the 0-60, to say nobody will notice is completely off considering the new torque curve.

0.70 vs 0.77 G's on the skidpad is also very much noticeable, that means the truck is more planted when changing directions.

Dude. The numbers are all around a half a second quicker. Who can realistically perceive that? The braking and skid pad improvements could also just be a difference in tires. They are just heavy slow trucks not sports cars.

I was thinking the same thing, a half a second is probably pretty hard to notice, the extra torque probably improves the drivability a little though.

    Serious question:

I wonder how long it will be before one will be able to walk into a dealer and test drive any of the trims. I'm thinking a couple of years, if ever.

I don't honestly think it will be that long. Seems like half the dealers are charging markups and half are not. I have contacted a few that are and asked about ones that are showing up on their sites and they are telling me they are available to put a deposit on. Between that and the higher prices I think that you will find some places where there is one on the lot to test drive. Now having all the trims at the same time to compare....who knows.

It will probably be just like with the tundra. There will be a run on them at first and then no one will buy the hybrid models, except the Pro. But with interest rates the way they are. These things may just stack up on the lots? Who knows.
