I've looked into it and I've got an unused X01 cassette, I've saw reviews where you can run transmission with conventional eagle chainring, chain, and cassette by just putting a ~1.5mm spacer between the cassette and driver. That will be my first dive into the tech.

This is interesting. Let me know how it works out. Might be a good hack for those that want to save a little bit of coin.

If I find one cheap enough to bite I'll report back, otherwise I'm fine with regular AXS.
    May be a while.

Just to verify, this setup is still reportedly successful on a UDH frame right?

Yeah, unfortunately transmission is only applicable on UDH frames.
I'll say it again, SRAM is a stinking business genius on selling the UDH as a universal metric for all bike manufactures to follow.

Are there any epoxies you can use on carbon fiber? Asking for a friend :anonymous: I have a small gouge on my fat bike. I learned that when the fork turns 90 degrees, like say if your front end washes out on a wet root, the top of the fork stanchion contacts the down tube. It's not really deep enough to where I think it's a structural concern, but it's also right where it'd sit on a tailgate pad. I'm thinking about epoxying on a shuttle pad, bond over the gouge and, with some thickness, maybe even prevent it from happening again since it would hit the pad. I know I can use double sided tape for the pad, but if there's an epoxy I can use as a filler, that'd be ideal. What do you think, dumb idea or pure brilliance?

I dont know the answer for sure, but I did watch a video of a guy using filler make a similar repair. He then sanded and repainted after filling in the gouge.

The following guy uses a Carbon Fiber repair kit on a crack in his frame.

That's pretty neat! Mine seems much more in line with the GCN type of repair, fortunately I don't have a cracked frame like the other guy!

Code: PPGTLD50OFF gets your 50% off everything currently and EXTRA10TLD stacks on top of that for sale items for sale items

For instance, I've been wanting to try a stage helmet for a while and the camo one for sale got reduced to $92 with the above codes and at that price I was willing to bite.

edit: it looks like TLD may have cracked down on that 50% off code. Crazy thing is it was better than last years as it stacked with sale items where last years didn’t.

Well, it’s NBD. My Fezzari Delano came in today. I got it unboxed and found some cool things when I put it together. I got an PNW Range dropper vs TransX, Stans rims vs WTB and an Ergon saddle vs WTB Volt. Pretty cool, but that’s where it got not so great. I’m 5’9” if I think happy thoughts, 5’8” leaving most convenience stores. I got it assembled and thought, that seat looks pretty friggin high in the air! It came with a 170 mm dropper. Fortunately, I got it turned down to a 140 dropper and slammed it down and I think it’ll work. Ok, let’s set up the suspension. Fork set up went fine, rear shock got the correct pressure in it however I’m at about 50% sag, it cycles very easily and makes a lot of swooshing noises. I have the same shock on another bike and it’s very supportive and quiet. I have a sneaking suspicion the rear shock is either blown or was assembled incorrectly. Anyways, pics to come, I’ll have time to get it ride wrapped while I sort out the rear shock issue at least!

I would take it apart and clean all the extra grease Fox puts on all their suspension and reassemble. It sounds like a problem with the negative and positive chamber if you're getting that much sag. That swooshing noise could be cavitation (which is unusual for a new shock). Hopefully Fezzari can just send out a new shock to keep you going.

    Finally got scammed buying/selling online.

Pinkbike is a dangerous place these days.

Bought something from a hijacked account (account user was from 2015). Had a couple of buy/sell history. Let my guard down and stupidly paid a PayPal invoice instead of sending payment to an account.

Turns out the scammers use hijacked accounts, take old ads and regurgitate them. Then use Ai to answer the questions. By the time I realized I was being scammed, it was too late. $1000 set on fire :(
