Morgan has something going on with her colon and Valerie has brain cancer.

Lord Jesus. We ask for healing for Morgan and Valerie. We stand on your promises and place our trust in you. For we know that by faith all things are possible. Bring your peace to the families and wisdom to the doctors in your name we pray. Amen

Parker is in Pre-K School as of today!

Parker Lyn had her first day of pre-school today.

Here comes a long sappy post…
It is hard to say in words how special today was. I wish I could go back in time and hug myself and Parker, as I rocked her in the NICU day after day. I’d like to share these pictures and remind myself that better things are coming.

Seeing Parker in a classroom setting brought indescribable joy. I am thankful she has this opportunity to continue to learn and grow. Parker’s life has been a chaotic and a beautiful journey so far. I find myself aching for normalcy but also finding a deeper appreciation for life through my journey with P.

Please pray for Parker as her school year begins… I can’t help but fear the challenges that await her. Just like every mom, I want my girl to be accepted, celebrated, safe, and happy. Sending this little girl, who never leaves my side, to school- in the hands of adults and students who may not appreciate and love her as deeply as I do, is scary. I am encouraged after having the opportunity to visit her classroom today and I know she will be in great hands.

Having a child with special needs is the greatest joy, heartache, blessing and scary thing I’ve ever experienced. Thank you to everyone who has prayed over Parker since I found out about her diagnosis at 20 weeks gestation. She has come so far… and we owe all the glory and praise to God.

I have been following and praying for Parker's journey since the beginning, and just can't believe how time flies.

Dean Rowell too, he got covid and pneumonia, went to the hospital November 17th and is now on life support. He needs prayer.

Please pray for Shauna and the kids. We’ve known Craig and Shauna since they we teens in our youth group. They were instrumental in caring for our children. He started his own insurance company. We were his first clients. Got word today that Craig died on Sunday after a massive heart attack. He was 49. My heart is aching

Any updates? Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas! Happy New Year too! Man was we ever busy I’ll bet you all were too.
We had a talk with my mom tonight about coming home from nursing home. She’ll be wheelchair bound and she doesn’t like that but we told her she can’t go home unless she uses it. I’m gonna have to move in with her and stay there at night. Then I’ll go to work in the morning! That’ll be my new free time.

 

Focusing on this…

 

Well I hate to post this but I backed out of taking my Mom home. Lots of reasons but mostly because there just wasn’t a way to do it. Working all day and up all night was gonna put me in the grave and cause issues with marriage. It’s on me but I just couldn’t make it work. She is a sweet lady but way to demanding and not living in reality in some ways. She seems to be good with it but it was hard the first couple of days. She has been winning at Bingo and 21 with a biker that is in there with her. Mike is there because of a motorcycle accident and hopefully will leave there in late February. He has been teaching her to have fun and make the best of it. Another friend I made for her there is keeping an eye on her. We break bread every Friday when I bring in take out!

 

Prayer request from the past that got dropped by my Son… he asked me to Pray but when I asked for further information he never made effort to provide any. My wife sent this portion and request to me.

Prayers for baby Matt!

This wreck happened not far from our house, this young lady is very blessed to be alive. She had traumatic injuries but is on the road to recovery. Praise be to God!!

Lord Jesus, we beseech You to heal Baby Matt so he can grow up to be a wonderful person.

 

I’ll check on little Matt when I get the chance. However this lady is in misery and needs all the prayers she can get! Tell your Church and pass on to whomever you can… one more prayer may be the key.
Prayers for:
Chelsea Persons, Jamie Haugen's wife. He just told me that the back in the hospital for the umpteenth time. She had a gastric bypass a few years ago in Illinois by some quack Dr. that has since disappeared. I’m told other patients of his has developed similar issues. She has developed multiple tumors in the abdomen, has a drain tube coming from her liver that needs a bag drained every couple of hours with infected fluid. Now she has a lung that is filling up & her heart has fluid around it. She has lost massive weight & is down to 100Lbs. She is scared to death & from all I’ve witnessed, Jamie is too. He's been missing a lot of time from work & is losing weight himself. Chelsea is scared to death. So
Is Jamie. Jamie just forwarded a list of her problems to me. Put them on every prayer chain you can; local & national, please.
