I came back from Mojave all enthused cause I thought it was actually getting better. Looking back, it was better because I wasn't on it all that much. Back home, getting normal stuff done, it is gradually getting worse and back to where it was before the adventure. This ain't gonna cut it if I want to stay active and healthy.

How is the sale of your house going?

Ahan that sucks. Are you headed towards a knee replacement?

I've got some of the last things to get out of the garage, the heavy stuff. Got bids for repairs and hopefully can pull the trigger on those next week. Then get cleaners in there and it should be ready. I figure it'll be mid Jan before it hits the market realistically.

I've gotten into a good routine with the new place. I am liking it, living so close to work is a nice benefit. Went home and took a nap during my lunch today lol.

Yeah, it is looking that way more and more. I've spoken to quite a few who've done the replacement. While it isn't a cake walk, it isn't so bad these days. Being able to walk normally and be pain free would be nice.

It seems like getting it on the market after the holidays is best. Ideal is a spring listing but I know you don't have that kind of flexibility. You getting some help with moving the big stuff into storage?

Yeah I bet that's where you'll end up. Not easy but the long term benefit is there.

If my friends don't bail on me this time I should be good. It's the tool boxes, the LS and my press. I'm sitting here thinking I should sell the press just to make life easier...

I recently picked up a HF 20 tonner. Unassembled it is 3 boxes and is awkward. Gotta be much worse assembled.

Could not pass on the deal. It'll be going to Spokane soon to its permanent home.

Here's what I have learned and know about buying a used vehicle where the owner has put a lot of pride into ownership and used "top shelf" products in the build.

Selling is not about money but about seeing something they love to go to an owner who will appreciate it and care for it as they have.

If you can show that you understand and appreciate everything he has done to that truck and will keep it and care for it, you might be surprised at the price.

I've got friends in the car club world who have bought museum pieces for $1 with the understanding that if they ever got tired of it and decided to sell it at a future date, they would split the proceeds.

Let him know that you would love to have it, but that you have limited funds at the moment. Trying to beat him down on price will only insult him.

    Yo! That’s me too!

To be honest, none of the attempts I’ve made to change diet have ever had any real effect. I guess it’s just me.

Planning on welding some tube to it for steps/extra push out to hold me over till I can afford to get real frame mounted sliders. Something like this.

Will be all in for $300 or $430 if I decide to buy a simple die kit from SWAG.

It took them this long to figure that out or is that just a new Dodge problem that piled onto a list of other Dodge problems

That sucks though, trade that POS in and get what you/she can for it and put it toward a reliable ride.
