They'll get significantly less on trade in versus just selling private party

normally yeah but with it needing a transmission? Feel like private party it's basically only worth parts at that point unless you get someone that really wants to work on it.

I just gotta convince her of that. Tried talking to her about it the other day and she said she'd rather just get rid of it now rather than take a minute.

Gotta figure out what it's even worth

They're not known for going out really, just electronics that act up based on low battery or faulty wiring issues

We'd see them for come in for timing chain guide issues and other shit, but never transmission related unless it just needed an update

Though yours is an AWD so I don't know about the differences in transmission compatibility

People will easily find value in the hood, doors, wheels, and especially the motor

As a part out, it's got value to a lot of these people that are driving around with bondo-rattle canned shit

Yeah, if that was coming to my old dealership that'd be a $500-1000 car for us as trade-in value

It's worth more of course; just speaking from a franchise-dealer perspective

The liability isn't worth keeping and putting in a reman transmission for

That'd get sold as part of several other cars to a used car lot; could net us like $3,000-4,000 cause that used dealer will put in a junk transmission and sell it for $11,999 or so

For us, we take it in cheap due to risk factor/minimal loss if any but yeah there would be profit for us the dealer, and convenience for you the person trading in

Oh yeah. Assembly is pretty easy. We were talking about moving an assembled one which is what Ben is dealing with. My comment was about the hassle for one old man to move and handle the unassembled unit which is in 3 boxes.

I really need to paint the whole studio and I really...really don't wanna.

Owner is coming into town today through next month and he always asks why the studio floor isn't perfectly white....I don't know, because we use it a shit ton?

All this work to paint it and it will look the same again in a few days, need to Line X the entire thing or something so I can just hose it off lol.

Bedline the entire place, all the things

Really though a hose in here would be a terrible idea with all the thousands of dollars in studio equipment, the sprinklers overhead give me anxiety when the fire alarm goes off.

But some kind of coating that could be mopped easily would be ideal, painting this entire place is pretty ridiculous given how often it gets used and dirtied afterward.
