So I have Toyota Tacoma alpha Rex nova series led projector headlights and I don’t have the DRL function in my 2006 Tacoma. I’m curious if I can just run my car without plugging in the DRL, fuse, and its conversion harness. I plugged my aftermarket lights to the normal light connections as if I was connecting my factory headlights and the aftermarket lights worked. Will I run any long term risks if I just keep them plugged in like that?

 

I wouldn’t think it would be any different than with the OEM headlights..

 

I'm thinking of getting some of these.
How do you like them?
Any issues with the light pattern?

 

Unplugged connectors should be sealed.

Parking lights are a nice feature. To use parking, etc.
