yeeesss it's a pretty common problem. No real concern if it gets easier to shift as it warms up Swapping the transmission fluid for redline mt90 makes cold shifts a little easier

C7R I built for my boss as he is a fan of the Corvette race cars. I may need to build this again for my own collection as it came out so fucking cool.


I need to find a way to paint things to be faux carbon fiber. I went with copper as I think it looks cool and is a fun paint.

 

Like most chevys... You gotta really slam the doors to get them shut right.

Yeah that was just one of those things that I had to deal with. The way it mounts to the car is goofy. I need to learn how to properly form the plastic parts for cases like this where the fitment is off due to design or even warping of the plastic. You've seen that before with the hoods on my previous builds.

Speaking of models

 

Would these u joints work with the OME leafs, or do I need the rectangular looking ones?

 

I mean, you ask so many questions about so many vehicles (and mention so many mods you don't need or will never do) none of us can keep track of what you actually have installed.

Your best bet is, look at what's on your truck. You literally own it, you can walk out and see it whenever.

The stock set are "square" as they sit over the plate that holds down your rear bump stops.

The round set are if you have a u bolt flip installed which would wrap around the axle housing itself.

 

How do you plan to hold the leaf pack to the axle perch?

Idk much about suspensions, these just came with the parts the PO left, so I’m not sure what they’re for tbh.
