    :D

Saw a new Prius the other day for the first time, I like it, could see myself driving one. They toned it down quite a bit, even that was getting out of control with the machismo thing. Be nice if Toyota would apply that to their trucks.

When we were in Hilton Head on vacation in Oct I saw a parked car from the rear and told my wife "That's a sharp car". I walked up and checked it out and it was a sporty version of a new Prius lol. If it fit my needs I would have no problem driving one of them.

I buy and drive what I want with no concern for what other people think about it. If I was younger and had kids, I would totally rock a minivan. :D

It is a sharp looking car. The Prius went from humble beginnings, then got the angry robot Predator treatment that Toyota has been fond of the last couple years. To this new sporty little thing. Not too bad. If I didn’t need a truck so much, would totally have one. Funny as you age, the less and less one cares about outward appearances.

Would totally do a mini van if Toyota had a cargo commercial version of their Sienna.

Would love a VW Kombi AWD. Too bad we don’t get them here.

Toyota is also betting on the commercialization of their in-house developed solid state batteries.
Higher energy density, longer range, and less weight with quicker charging. The current holy grail of the EV industry.

Toyota’s been saying SS batteries are 2-3 years away for nearly the past decade.

Meanwhile their actual current BEV options are lackluster compared to the current competition.

Toyota has planned two 3 row BEV SUV's by or in 2026. BEV frame architecture typically doesn't use BOF design. Here is the plans from Toyota from a corporate video late last year.
