Toyota OEM Parts 25% off Black Friday Sale

I was at the dealer this week picking up a new tail light (w/LED center lamp) I ordered through the website. I ended paying only $156 for it (list; $216) with the dealer discount. I mentioned the recent the 25% off black Friday deal with free ship and he said that he heard they are going to do it again after Christmas. I'm thinking of getting a pair of OEM headlamps if they do it again. I had also called him and he suggested that I pick it up at the dealership even though there is free shipping: reason was he could/would open the box up to confirm the part was correct before it left the counter in case there was a problem, A nice surprise was that the unit included a new wiring harness and bulbs.

Not to burst your happiness too much but you do know those dont fit Tacomas without modification. The OP has a 4Runner so he's obvi good but the newer style 4R PRO wheel are well documented to not fit right off the bat

 

Last wheel came as well as bump stops and brakes for the 4Runner.

 

Finally a weekend with no atmospheric river, so I had the wheels installed.

 

They are. I got an email last week that they would ship those whenever they are back in stock. All of my other items were shipped without the filters.

Good news! Looks like USPS lost my shipment of bed rail caps. Departed Topeka on the 14th, with no update since then other than "Moving Through Network, Arriving Late"

Not sure why any business would ever use USPS

 

I mean, it is like the busiest time of the year for mail/packages... so maybe it is just being slow.

 

If it was anyone else yes I would give them the benefit of the doubt. But I've been burned by USPS and their uselessness too many times. 6 days without any tracking update means they lost it. If Im lucky it will pop up again after the holidays, if not Ill have to call Lewis.

 

Well I guess I have to eat my words. Big ol box from Lewis was just delivered this AM.

Tracking number still thinks the package is lost... But hey at least I got it, better late than never!

I had no luck with email and just called to get an update (everything on hold due to one item on backorder). Sounds like they are still playing catch up a bit.

 

I have to say that the Toyota online parts/accessories web site has got to be the worst web site that I have ever dealt with. Going back and forth with the dealer right now trying to return/exchange parts as we speak. Ordered rims that they didn't ship out, but was charged for and now they won't exchange the tpms sensor I ordered wrong but didn't realize cause the rims came a month later.

 

Anyone here still waiting the shipping status updates from Lewis Toyota? Mine order placed in Thanksgiving weekend yet nothing is heard so far. Should I withdraw the order?
