I used this video for my 2012 and 2008. It is simpler than it looks and enabled correct mounting for both of my trucks.

That’s the same video I used, lol. I noticed you didn’t put the cover on the 6x9 speaker and I just now realized that I probably didn’t need to since it’s in the door

As long as the tweeter isn't blocked or muffled by the door panel cover I guess rotation doesn't matter.

zero complaints of sound quality. I put Rockfords in the doors, kicker tweeters, a Kenwood powered under-seat sub. Sounds incredible. Mind you I’ve also used Noico deadening in my doors, rear of cab, and entire roof.

I haven’t messed with their EQ stuff yet as it’s pretty damn well dialed-in as soon as I plug it all in.

Accomplished with a 10mm socket, plastic trim tools and a #2 Phillips. Steering wheel controls work but I need to default mine as I accidentally bumped one during my initial setup. I wasn’t a fan of the gloss trim, but a #1 Phillips and many light coats of plasti-dip and poof. Matte.

Yep! There's a big thread about their different variants but:
    You can use the camera
Buy the upgraded android 12 version for a better processor
Buy the extra ram. no one likes a laggy stereo.
good time to install a front/under side camera while you have everything apart

They are KC Hilites Flex dual pods. Got them from their "Garage Sale" a few years back.

The option to add one of their branded ones is there (like $20) but I've read there's ways to patch into the OEM camera. I'm not researching as my camera's in the mirror and I'm ok with that for now.

Completed a project that's been stretched out far too long. Highly modified NAPA Maxi Trac mounted in a custom locking combo 14ga cubby box. 2way disconnect (shared with winch) at the battery running 2ga welding cable to 175a Anderson plugs. On the DIY 4way inflator I can go from 16 to 36 psi in just under 4 min with my 285/75r16s.

Since camping season is pretty well over I figured it was time to reinstall my Roam awning.
Also swapped the Rubbermaid tote in the bed for a Roam 160l box. Kind of wish I'd have opted for 2 smaller ones instead, but it is still pretty nice. Also finally installed a Harbour Freight Apache gun case on the roof rack. Double bolted to 4 rack crossmembers so it certainly shouldn't go anywhere. Plus it will be nice to remove 2 tool bags worth of gear from the rear seat area and move it to the roof. Plan on installing my new Matrax boards on the other side of the rack once cut up some mounts.

    that’s exactly what I did
Except less bolts and smaller washers that I should probably get more bolts and wider washers

    running rubber backed sealing ones
Used Sherpa t slot nuts in the crossbars instead of square clamps onto the crossbars
Hopefully it holds. So far it has. But haven’t tested wheeling yet (the time will come) or high speed (that time will never come)

here is some ideas you may consider
    I’ll probably do them

-metal grid from a shelf onto lids for cheap MOLLE
    -struts
-traction boards can also mount to the lids, or solar
    -mesh cargo net inside
-some sort of anti slip thin mat on the bottom to reduce cargo moving, without taking up space like foam
-inside lights, even cordless battery portable ones

did you throw out the stock foam?

with how PITA it was to install lining bolts up to the t slots and unfortunate permanent nature of that, for extra securing I kinda wanna try a more universal way
Maybe install some U bolts to the sides and run some straps around the rails
    that won’t block lid opening

right now I’ve got traction boards in the center but would rather move them elsewhere to have space for mounting axe and shovel
Left and right rack fairings still free room to put awning and water on each side
