That's kind of scary. Had one not as bad in my son's bedroom about 20 years ago. Of course it was about an hour before I had to be at work, but I fortunately had a new outlet in my electrical parts box. Got it sorted and was only a few minutes late.

Some people blame the "back stabbing" style outlets, but in my case and yours it's clearly not that.

How much rust does it have? I get expensive real quick on descaling and rust removal, especially at this time of year

 

I went through and got the other outlets in the circuit since I was in there, bunch of loose backstabs as well. Probably gonna slow go through and redo everything for some peace of mind lol

Hey Rob, how are you making out? I know EP is getting slammed! It should be over by the time I go to work at 4:00.

 

Looking for recommendations for a good wheel/suspension shop in south shore MA (I'm in Quincy). Probably need a wheel bearing replacement, some new tires, and may be looking at a suspension upgrade/replacement depending on the condition of my current suspension. I'd like to get this done before getting the bottom treated/rust removed/coated. Along with shop recommendations, any thoughts on the current condition of the struts? 2013 OR, 85kmiles.

Good timing on that, 10-15 minutes of chaos right when you posted. I got a good video that I cut off too soon accidentally, didn't see the car coming down the road out the window at work, stopped recording just as it went into the small lake that is the puddle out front

But no we're good. A lot of EP without power, but work industrial park is underground fed, house is on the same block/whatever it's called as the hospital and a few old folks homes. We had some blips but never lost power.



Looks like a couple big sections by downtown/city hall, this is probably a big chunk of those numbers.



I am at the office, but I can see if it's out at home through the thermostat, nothing happened so I guess we're good. Looks like the worst of it just passed over about 10 minutes ago.

Still windy though, 20 gusting to 40, they won't go up in buckets in that, so if it does go out, it'll be about 3-4 hours minimum before they'll even go up in the air is my guess.

 

my black front piece doesn't match the painted part of the tacoma, my truck is a 2022,. the fender flares don't match the truck either, trd off-road didnt match.

 

Seems like a bunch of people go to offroad elements but I have no experience with them. I do know their phone line is down today tho due to the weather

 

It seems like this storm hit us in this area much harder than the last one they were warning us about!
