What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The Toyota website listed some glitches that it’s supposed to fix but I’ve never experienced any of the problems they mentioned so I’m thinking I won’t notice a difference. It didn’t seem like it changed the user interface at all.

Absolutely love mine! I filled up a fellow Tacoma driver just the other day from nearly flat to 40psi no problems. I’m glad I went that route…looking for a way to mount it in the truck though.

@Jbbarrette It appears everything looks the same. I did notice that the touch screen seems more responsive. I’ve been having issues where I would press a button on the touch screen and there would be some lag before it did what I asked. It seems like that may have been fixed with the update.

I did see that when I downloaded the update, the Toyota website says it’s from Feb. 2022 so it’s not very new. Still, that means my software was probably ~2 years old.

 

That is a beautiful rig, love that stance. Maybe one day I can get my 2017 Quicksand Off-Road DCSB looking that good? Lol

 

All you have to do is watch your state/regional forum WTS threads, and build it one piece at a time! I have a few more things I have bought from forum peeps but haven't installed yet! Wifey says "So you gained 1.5 inches? Maybe you need new tires to increase circumference!"

 

Driving to Georgia on Wednesday, figured I should probably make somewhere to sleep while I am on the road. So, I started building my camper platform. The open area is going to be hatch to get things inside there, a diesel heater is showing up tomorrow, that will get installed next to the cubby on the drivers side and pipe up out of the floor. Im using my daughter old mattress as its comfortable and the perfect size.
I need to cut 2 holes with my router on the front face to allow for getting things out from under the platform.

 

That’s why I will just leave mine alone. I have no idea what you just said.
