Set up your dash cam then go get gifts?

 

The dash cam has to be attached to the windshield...I'll need to clean the cold windshield spot and at least warm up the windshield before cleaning.

Dover Mall opens at 10am...the spot I wanna shop is Dick's Sporting Goods.

 

I thought you said you gotta buy your wife gifts not for you


Makes sense about the windshield, maybe after the drive back from the mall it’ll be heated enough that you can attach it.

Does that one have a rear camera too?

I don't think she likes when I have free time to myself...cause when she has a day off, I don't make her feel awkward about it.

But, that's not really up for discussion...lol!

I'm going for a drive now...have to pre-order my daughter's cake from the German Bakery--she's a "Boxing Day" baby.

Heading to Dick's afterwards but I think I'll attach the mini cam before I leave.

As for the dash cam...I finally got it to bluetooth sync after rebooting both the camera and my phone.

I went to use my dongle to go wireless with my phone and looks like the camera has bluetooth/wifi interference.

I'll have to fix my phone connection (I dropped it at the beach & it's never been the same) in order to use Spotify/Google Maps & dash cam simultaneously.

 

One more day!

Just doing some document cleaning/shredding and fixing last minute projects I put on hold.

I got my Onboarding schedule done...just a video conference to do this afternoon and I'll start my journey this Friday!

Everyone is mostly happy for me leaving my current position but it is nice to hear from everyone that I will be missed.

One of the Peripheral Reps brought in lunch for my departure so the Cath Lab Team was fed well.

I was able to say some goodbye's and get well-wishes from folks who have seen me walk the halls of this hospital for the past 7+ years.

Not forgetting the fact I still had some virtual onboarding tasks to do...doh!

All-in-all, I cleaned out my desk area, tidy'd up boxes that gathered throughout my time in Cath Lab...and said my final words to my replacement.

I'm not taking a break between the action either...tomorrow is a 67 mile drive to Ridley Park, PA for one-day paid orientation.

Come Monday, I'll be working on Dover AFB beginning at 8am--gotta deal with gate traffic to get on base.

 

I don’t miss the Daytona (can’t remember what the contractors we had were called) 500. Watching all the contractors leave while we waiting for one more formation or person to finish up so we could leave…

but for now, I’m looking to get some frame sliders and a suspension lift done, anyone have a reputable place they recommend? Everywhere I look seems very Jeep focused.

 

There’s a Trick Trucks in Millsboro. I’ve never been to that location but I’ve had other Trick Trucks(es) do a bunch of work in the past and I’ve always been happy.

 

Welcome to TW and The DE forum. For sliders, find a set you like from one of the many places. I don’t think any are really better than others, some just look different. But, I don’t have a 4R so I may be talking out my ….

I can’t think of any local shops in DE or MD for installing a lift.

 

SoundFX in Bridgeville, DE is where I will be taking my truck for bigger wheels and tires.

I've gone there for other work and can vouch for them to be a great shop for many upgrades.

Wanted to share a trip I did with my crew from MD, we went up to Flagpole Knob in VA, it was a bit icy but it was doable even for the stock taco we were with did just fine.
