You couldn’t get $1 offmsrp on anything domestic when they usually would be thousands off.

However Tacomas have a much bigger cult following and we have no idea how many trucks will actually make it to lots at first. It’s gonna be a min, Toyota will do their best to maximize profit.

Lots of grumbling this go around, and all that funny money has been exhausted. Sure you’ll get early adopters such as you @TacoBuffet the ones that just have have new and shiny. Guessing there are going to be more people sitting on the sidelines watching how it all pans out.

    That you do!

I barely wash mine, use it too much. My wife and I ran up to the mountains today to grab lunch, she commented scratches on the interior door panel, and how they got there. My response was, dunno…it’s a truck. :)

Super ocd about mechanical maintenance, aesthetics (meh)

My bet is that for every person sitting on the sidelines, there will be two at the dealership buying every truck at MSRP+ for quite a while.

Agreed. As much as I like the looks of the 3G, that 4G is better looking by far.

I think I'll start taking the classic 2nd genner in the 3rd gen forum approach.

My truck is way better in nearly every way, because it's the one I have and I'd never own anything inferior. Definitely not sour grapes! The only reason anyone will ever own a 4th gen is because they didn't have the opportunity to buy a new 3rd gen. Poor bastards.

If it isn’t functional, don’t see the point. Maybe if the intercooler was up there.

Overall styling wise it is a bit much, didn’t really like the 3rd Gen when it came out, nor the 2nd Gen either. It will probably grow on me over time like the others.
