@Tacoma Mike - how are things your way? I heard Maine has a lot of power outages from the storm; approaching 1/2 million customers.

We’re doing ok in NH, only about 6500 still without power right now. We had a blip earlier, but no long term loss of power. Lots of smaller branches and limbs down.

    Good evening everyone!

LOOONNGG weekend, I honestly heard the alarm this morning and wondered why I had it set to go off on Sunday morning...

The TPMS light is finally off in the Taco. NTB told me to just show up early on Saturday morning, they would try to 'relearn' the new sensors again. I called Friday evening to verify the app't, they told me that I should bring my old tires so they could scan the old ID's and clone the new sensors, even though the new sensor already have new ID's in them. I was also told that they couldn't get to me until noon. That change in plans really F'd up my plans, but I go there anyway. After they farted around for 30 minutes the manage tells me that they can't scan the new sensors, they must be defective and I should go across the street to autozone and buy their sh*t products so that they could install and program them ( and charge me for 4 more mount and balances) because they don't have the Bosch software in their tool that they told me they DID have when I verified with them before buying the Bosch. I was pissed and let them know it, then stopped by a Mr. Tire in the town next to mine. ( NTB was a 45 minute drive to get to) I explain what was going on and asked how much it would be if they had the right software in their scanner. The manager just walked out, scanned all 4 ID's in about 30 seconds, plugged into the OBD port and 30 seconds later the Taco 'puter was happy and the light went out, and has stayed out. He wouldn't take any money from me. I've used that shop before for alignments but I wouldn't expected ( or asked) for any freebees.

That isn't a bad view to wake up to! Congrats on all of your hard work and all of the scrambling to find a new place and make it happen. You got handed a big shit sandwich and you just made the best of it, and for the better.:thumbsup:
