Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
Ultimately I ended up bailing on it as well since the weather was pretty meh. From what I saw on an instagram story there wasn't much of a turn out

It’s best to save the rainy outings for when we are camping. Wyalusing will be perfect for that!

At least this time I'll know better than to reserve the shelter.

The event is at Windrock, it is not hosted by them.

Titan Off-Road hosts the event, I'll post a link when registration goes live

Just reserved site 146 for Wyalusing as the next open site down the line.

For changing things up, I'd have to go research again but supposedly there is some other new offroading park in Fond du Lac area that I read about on some other offroading group's website or Facebook. Not sure how I found them, maybe by browsing members of Tread Lightly or the Wisconsin 4x4 club or something. I'm dealing with some mechanical issues on both of my vehicles right now so don't have much time to dig deeper but may be something to check into. I figure someone probably already knows more than me and there has to be something bad about it or we would hear more but hey who knows maybe I found something new for a change lol.

Other ideas would be running the northern TWAT section for those of us who haven't done it yet. Figure we do the south part at Wyalusing, we did the middle-ish part during Ice Road Truckers event, maybe rotate every other year doing the north part? Or how about that 7 mile plane crash thingy?

Glad to hear you bailed, I felt bad not being able to join. U joint roached on me over the weekend or I would have been there.

Kimmr's mom grew up about 2 hrs from the Windrock area. She is thinking about having me drop her off at her Dads place and sending me on my way. I'll have to get her home for work.

Ended up getting site 145 late last night. Planning on heading in Thursday afternoon to get set up and maybe have some time for fishing again in the mornings. Really is such a great area.

Bringing a little more company this time. My wife's friend that came to Tigerton has a suitor I'd like to put to the test. Not sure what breed their steed is but it should keep up with us. Otherwise I take full responsibility on possible recoveries. Don't remember any hairy sections besides Ranch Road.

The 7 Hour Plane Crash route came to mind also...would the whole thing be doable in a weekend?

Honestly I have no idea about anything about that one, I was jut putting it out there because I recall someone talking about it once and then that's all I remember hearing about it.

I've been interested in this for years, but haven't done it yet. I'd like to get some input from anyone who's done it. It definitely sounds appropriate for this crew, and some of the camping opportunities look spectacular!

It looked like you could. I looked it over in GAIA and figured if nothing else, I'll have a whole lot of time on my hands starting 4/2.
