Well, I got to watch a wild comeback win in todays bowl got me back to -3. Son was at +7 yesterday..... still, I completed my legal obligation to see some of every game.

I did get the flares back on, and plan to put the tonneau back on tomorrow. That gasket probably made it a little harder. I got one I might do over - you have to be close. Yes, there is blue tape on the grille, holding down the gasket to adhesive strip overnight.

They both chew on sticks and obviously eat chunks of them :annoyed: if that stick had gotten stuck, she'd have had to have surgery to repair the damage....

Zoie doesn't chew on bones anymore, unless there is peanut butter involved, but she will still chew on sticks. Gizmo will chew on toys or sticks, but has never buried a bone or stick. Only thing she has buried is a dead squirrel, which she then went to dig back up...

:hattip:Morning everyone, I think the blizzard is over for us. 6”-8” total, but the roads turned into skating rinks. Lake effect is coming of Lake Erie today. Be careful out there folks.

Dogs are strange that way, when my daughter had a chocolate lab a few years back I was dog sitting the stupid thing. I was out with it and it poop once, them started again only to try passing a chunk of rope big enough around you could have used to pull a car About a ft long. My son was freaking out so I had to get the rubber gloves out to help it out. That could have been bad also. I don't get why they do stupid things like that. It also would hunt pheasants till it dropped. I'd be tired of walking the field until you got back to the truck looking for more birds and you would almost have to lift it up in. Then it would snore like crazy on the ride home.

    Late to the porch party.
Great story Horseshoez. Happy ending is always the best!
I want to recommend a cost saver for another body part:

Go to Hungary for dental work! Evergreen Dental in particular.

A lot of UK, Swiss, and German citizens (I even saw a couple of UK movie stars there) utilize them due to the QUALITY and LOW cost.
Hungary gives the practices such huge discounts (or non-existent cost at all) on taxes / rent / fees that the Dentists don't have to pass on those costs to us patients. The cost is amazingly reasonable.
Then to highlight the quality of both the product and the skill level: I went to U.S. oral surgeon for an extraction a year or two after my Hungary trip. First time patient with this U.S. doc. Before he even introduced himself, he exclaims (as he walks into the room) "Who did your implants?! That's the best work I've even seen other than mine!" He had already viewed my x-rays from his nurse. He pointed out that far too many U.S. dentists create "lolly-pop implants": a too big of crown on a too small of post. My Hungary done ones were the opposite!
The regular dentist who sent me to this guy also remarked that Hungary did everything just perfect on the crowns (tooth on top of the implant).
To boot, Evergreen gave me a passport for the implants, which details all of the technical data for each (screw size, thread pitch, torque spec, material, location, etc.). The U.S. docs were very jealous that they hadn't thought of that. (They use electronic records - which aren't very universal. Internationally anyway.)
Also, to talk about the Hungary ethics: My wife wanted a "Hollywood Smile" and thought veneers would be the ticket. The Doc refused to damage her good teeth to do that. He was more interested in her health (health of her teeth) than he was in making money! Disappointed her to not get the smile she wanted, but it sure impressed me!

Bottom line is that I got five implants and five crowns for just over $5000 (U.S. dollars) total. Hotel was extra at about $250 for four nights. All 5 implants done the same day. Four months later I got the crowns installed. Only stayed two nights then. Also, due to the new crowns being so much harder than real teeth, if one grinds at all during sleep (Fekking PTSD!) the real teeth can be damaged, so the Doc supplied me with a custom fit mouth guard for sleeping. Free of charge and tons better than the sports version you soak in hot water to form-fit. Goes on bottom jaw and I hardly know it's there.

The office staff and Dentist all spoke English. There is a U.S. based representative to help coordinate appointments before travel, as well.
The hot springs / Turkish baths in Budapest cost maybe $4 and were very impressive! Made for a great way to relax at the end of each day of sightseeing.
