Fucking internet still isn't back.

God damn spectrum.

This is bullshit.

 

Going on 15 hours without internet, and not even a word on what the problem is....

All they say is there is an "outage" in my area.

That's bullshit. Other streets in my area have service. What these idiots need to do is send someone out to check the line, especially because a tree fell on it. But you can't even tell them that via the online chat because my account is in an "outage" so I get automated response that because of that they can't help.

Fucking idiots.

Gonna try and find a number tomorrow when I'm at my in-laws and have service, to ream them out.

Cell service at my house is awful so I can barely be on the net.

This is why I said he be better off working at Firestone. He does brakes and tires all day long.

I'm sorry, I know it's early. Woke up with a headache.

The car from yesterday. Somebody blew the 150A "ALT" fuse in the car. So I fixed that and the radio didn't work, power but no sound.
It was unrelated to the previous problem and the customer wanted it fixed. The 30A "AMP" fuse was missing. Who the hell worked on this car before me?
As soon as I saw the new battery that was in there, I figured the worst.

Now I have a workaround when that fuse is blown. The e-brake sets and you can't release it, making it very difficult to get the car inside the shop (it was raining yesterday which made it that much worse).

Got off the hook once for a criminal trial where some guy was fighting the cops at 2am.
I knew one of the cops well from road jobs.

 

Morning all. Had a second interview yesterday...now it comes down to money - as always. Hoping this one works out, I'm getting destroyed over here working 70+ hour weeks. Although my soccer club has the final game before the winter break today and our annual xmas party so looking forward to that. Will be at Tk's this afternoon which will be nice. Haven't had a single bit of time to catch a match in what feels like ages. Adulting comes first however, going in to open, then year end wrap up and review meeting at work, then its go time!

 

I got called every 3 like clockwork until I was 28, then never until a few years ago. Never actually served though
