I have a feeling my steering rack is getting bad. Any slight corrections and the truck jerks. It was really bad when I started to head home from ATR, the TINIEST correction I made and the truck would fucking yeet in that direction. Pulled into a parking lot and took that cap off the steering fluid reservoir and turned the wheels lock to lock to bleed any air out. Worked but it's still fidgety as hell

Our racks with big tires = lots of feedback from the road at the wheel. I never really had any issue with the vibes till Tennessee, and to a greater extent, my last trip to Kansas Rocks. I probably beat the fuck out of the front end and now something's shot. OR I'm thinking it's on one side when in reality it's the passenger side. I guess I could swap out the passenger wheel hub/bearing and see if that fixes it. I didn't want to do that on the off chance the bearing is fine. Guess I could keep it as a spare if it's still vibrating.

So balanced the two fronts yesterday, and they told me they were way off balance. Drove it home and it felt better. Got on the highway and it was still vibrating a bit but was a lot better, but slammed on the brakes in traffic and it's back to full vibes again. So maybe I lost a weight?

So @Calamity_taco is gonna let me borrow his wheels off his truck to do some testing to see if the vibes are wheel/tire related. If so, I may just say F it and swap to the new-to-me Falken MTs and balance beads.

If not, probably gonna do lower ball joints next.

That or could be the lower ball joints like you said. I have no idea because I'm not a mechanic. Going through some bullshit with the forester and I can't figure it out :annoyed:

The second 2nd gen (see what I did there?) Is gonna be bone stock. Maybe a set of 5100s if the shocks are roached but that's it
