Yes, totally stock suspension. One tire size up. 265/70/R17 These are my first ever A/T’s. Ran Michelin Defenders for 25 years. After 2 years I’m still impressed with these Toyo Open Country AT3’s in a P metric weight.

Aren’t those the stock rims though aren’t they 16 in? Also do the tires rub?

TRD Sport Rims are 17” whereas the off roads are 16”. No rub at all. It’s safe to go one tire size up on stock rims as the positive offset is favourable.

I'll start by saying I have had 0 noise complaints. I would be very interested to hear the ones people say are loud because mine....are not.

I like the look of the LTs and they are about as quiet as the XLs were, but the wet traction is not there. The XLs gripped extremely well in my experience, in braking and traction. I peel the LTs without trying pretty much immediately when it rains. For that reason my next set probably won't be LTs. 5.29s don't help with that but I ran them on the XLs for 10K miles right through the rainy season and had 0 complaints or unintentional peelouts, so I know it's the tires.

All that said, I am installing a rear Detroit TrueTrac in the near future, and these tires will be here a while until I burn them down. So we will see if the TrueTrac fixes my complaints. If it does, then I may stick to LTs on the next set just for the added durability. I did like the way the XLs handled better though, they felt super sporty for an all terrain.

I need to take a new photo. This one is becoming a serious rerun.

Oh oh I have questions. How close does it get to the UCA and what offset are your rims?

I'll have to measure to figure out how close but plenty clearance. They are 17x9's with 0 offset.

That’s good enough for me. I’m still stock Uca but thought the 285/75 would rub them. Might pull the trigger now thanks.
